We stayed at Hokedate Grand Hotel for 2 nights over Christmas, the hotel is within walking distance to 2x tram stations (approx. 5min walk, but on slippery ice approx 10-15min). Since the hotel is not within the main tourist districts, convenience store and a famous burger chain in Hakodate are the only options in terms of food. Hotel room is...

The location of hotel is out of town, but it is easily accessible via Tram. The hotel is also the terminal for airport limo bus to Hakodate Airport, saving us the trouble to find transport to airport. The hotel is also within walking distance to ropeway station to Mt. Hakodate. Our room size is big, even though an extra bed...

Stayed 2 nights here in Hakodate Grand Hotel. Not exactly near to the Hakodate JR station. Might be difficult to take tram to the hotel especially during winter time where roads are slippery and snowy. We took cab whenever we were dragging our baggage with us. The cab fare is approximately 800 yen to 1000 yen (Hakodate Grand Hotel -...

Spacious room, comfy bed, ultra clean. The room was not over heated like others we have stayed in, which was a...

This hotel is located at the edge of town. Rooms are small and clean. Cost is not much but you get what you get here. There is a convenience store and small neighborhood type family restaurants around the hotel. The seven of us found it hard to get seating because most of the places could not manage seven. Good hotel...
