Clean, convenient for a quick stay in this port of Hokkaido. Helpful staff but here like pretty much everywhere in Japan they don't speak any other language. They provide slippers and pajamas in the room, which was relatively comfortable. Bathroom fully equipped and automation in the toilet. The bar on the 13th floor is beautiful with a wide variety of cocktails, but the western dishes they offer are not well made. Economical for what it offers.

Tiny rooms, but good service and a wonderful location.
Our experience at Sheraton Hakodate was good. We spent one night in transit to Sapporo. Given the small size of our room, I couldn’t have stayed much longer, but we did enjoy our stay.
The hotel is immediately adjacent to the Hakodate Morning Fish Market and Hakodate Station - you’re not going to get a better location than that!
Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and affordable.
Recommended, but remember, the rooms are truly Japanese size.

We booked two rooms for 3 adults. Our 2 twin room was probably upgraded from the basic room (due to elite status) and had single sofa, coffee maker, frig station, desk. Bathroom is nice and automated bidet. The other room had 1 twin bed with no coffee/frig stand and very minimal walk space. The only problem with the stay is that both rooms were stuffy and it was May. Central air control could only be adjusted lowest to 20 degree Celsius but it really did not ventilate nor cool the room. We used the air freshener at high power to provide air flow but it did not cool the room. We had to propped open the window for a tiny opening for cold air. Breakfast for 2 was provided due to marriott elite status. Breakfast selection was very very good. Location is next to JR station.

During my trip to Hakodate, I stayed at the Premier Hotel Cabin Hakodate, which is a very convenient hotel because it is located near Hakodate JR Station, only a two-minute walk away. This is very convenient for me as I can easily travel to other places to explore.
The nearby food landmarks such as the famous Chashu Market and Daimon Yokocho make Premier Hotel Cabin Hakodate a paradise for food lovers. Every morning, I can taste a fresh and hearty breakfast, giving me enough energy to start the day's adventures. In the evening, I can taste a variety of delicious snacks and local specialties at Daimon Yokocho.
Premier Hotel Cabin Hakodate is also an ideal starting point for those who want to explore Hakodate's famous attractions. Whether I am going to Goryokaku Park or Mount Hakodate, I can easily take the city train and reach my destination in a short time. This makes my journey more convenient and stress-free.
The hotel itself offers comfortable and modern rooms that made me feel right at home. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and were happy to provide help and advice to ensure I had a pleasant stay.
All in all, Premier Hotel Cabin Hakodate is an ideal accommodation option with a great location, amenities and a great dining experience. If you plan to go to Hakodate, I highly recommend this hotel and I believe you will have an unforgettable trip.

This hotel is a branch of a chain, present in some major cities in Japan. The Hakodate branch has a stately and elegant appearance, especially in the large lobby. The rooms are on par with the common areas: comfortable and efficient. They are also unusually large compared to those we experienced during our Hokkaido trip (our group occupied a double room plus two "premier" double rooms). We were able to use this hotel for one night only, having to leave for Tokyo. The hotel is very close to the JR station (in 10 minutes you can be on the train) which in turn is very central in the city.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Room and washroom amenities were more than adequate. Like most of the hotels in Japan the rooms are small but they're very well appointed and designed.
Breakfast spread was excellent.
Staff were very polite, attentive and accommodating.
Location was excellent....a hop, step from the JR train station. Walkable to most of the sights in and around Hakodate. Also hop & step from public transport to most, if not all, places of interest.
Morning market is just a 2 minute jaunt from the hotel.
We would stay here again for sure.
Highly Recommended.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. I believe that it is a former Marriott property that was bought by Premier Inn. The rooms were comfortable and of a good size. I was on an upper floor and had a great view. There was a western-style shower in the room, which was a plus.
It is extremely convenient to the JR station which was directly across the street. It was also quite convenient to the streetcars only a block away, and to the morning market for a great seafood breakfast in the morning.
If you want some regional fast food I would suggest stopping by Lucky Pierrot, which a Hakodate burger chain with a location two blocks away.
The hotel has a great bar on the top floor, which looks out over the city, and has a ceiling lit to look like the stars.
Good value, great room, and very convenient.

I stayed here because it was only a few minutes walk from Hakodate Station. The room was small, but it was enough for me since I was alone. For breakfast, I could make my own seafood bowl, and they also had salt ramen. The warm pumpkin vegetables were fluffy and delicious. This was the best breakfast I've had out of all the hotels I've stayed at. It's close to Hakodate Station, so it's easy to access by bus and tram. It was a little scary when it got dark because there were fewer people around. I recommend the bus that runs from Hakodate Station to the top of Mt. Hakodate in the evening.

The sashimi and quality of food provided was excellent and consistent for the two mornings i spent.
Great spread, great quality and the hotel breakfast was a good introduction to most of the available food surrounding us like the morning market, salt ramen, cheesecake and hokkaido mild (so awesome).
Unlimited ikura is a massive plus point too 😍
