My husband and I stayed here for 11 nights on a recent ski trip to Japan. We loved staying here. The onsen was beautiful and used by hotel guests and locals. The breakfast buffet was extensive and featured Japanese dishes. There was some fruit and yoghurt and cereal if you need it. The room was clean and serviced every day and we had a great view of the ski resort opposite. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel offering very economical and tasty meals. There is also a bus stop right outside that will take you into otaru where there are loads of interesting restaurants. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again.

Looks time locked in the 50's. Looked like the set of a 1950s Hollywood movie. The furniture and fittings were really old. I thought the price very high. We stayed in a modern five star hotel in Shinjuku for the same price. Location is in the middle of nowhere. There may be skiing in winter but we were there in October. Going to town (Otaru) is abut 15 minutes by car. And you need to get on a highway and pay the toll. It appeared that many prople were there for the baths. Free for hotel guests. This, to me, was the only possible reason anyone would want to stay at this hotel. We were there because the couple we were travelling with were into Japanese hot spring baths and we didn't want to deprive them. We got off on the wrong footing stepping into our assigned room. It bore no resamblance to the photo on the web site. When we asked, we were told that the room we'd booked and paid for in advance was not available and they'd given us the next best - a free downgrade without notice! As the room wans't big enough to swing the proverbial cat, we were loud in our protest and were finally given an enourmous room with three beds and a sitting area. Despite the size, everything was pretty old. The wash basin was cracked and the toilet had an incrediblerefill for its cistern. See photo! In summary, expensive antiquated hotel whose saving grace is the hot bath

Thank you for staying at Otaru Asari Classe Hotel from several hotels this time. However, the image of the room was different, You were not satisfied with the crowd of bathing, It is very disappointing There is still room for improvement, so we will consider. The hotel's rooms correspond to various kinds to meet the needs of various customers. It is the same type, but it seems to be different from customer's image, as the internal structure and structure are often different. We will strive to communicate with customers so that pictures and guides on pamphlets and Web sites are easy to understand. Thank you for your precious opinion. When coming to Otaru, please use Otaru Asari Classe Hotel. I will see you around.

The baths are very large and very comfortable. The lady side has three baths including a second outside bath that was very special. The men's side has only two. Piano music in the lobby with a player piano during the afternoon and live pianist in the early evening was very special touch. We stayed two days and two nights.

You would need a car to get to this hotel. It is a huge complex located in Asari which is a suburb of Otaru. Very reasonably priced rooms, great breakfast, and very nice hot spring. The only downside is the gym-quite small and opens only at 10 am.

This time thank you very much for staying at Otaru Asari Classe Hotel from among several hotels. Also thank you again for your submission to the review. The hotel is located in the Asakura Onsen area about 30 minutes by car from Otaru city · tourist area. There are few eating and drinking establishments around, and honestly location is not good. We would like to respond as much as we can, but the current situation is that the service is not fully prepared. For those visiting on the bus, we will provide refund support for one way, we will guide you free of charge for guests coming by private car or car rental. It seems that you are satisfied with breakfast and hot springs, and I am happy. The outdoor bath creates a healing space as a lighting reminiscent of the fireflies' lights. When you come to Otaru please stay at Otaru Asari Classe Hotel. Thank you for your post.

I love this quiet hotel and staff are so friendly. they welcome you with nice piano and smiles in snow season. the room is not fashion, and request you re-use the towels to save the world. the hot spring are awesome and you cannot miss the outdoor one if it snows. remember to schedule your plan carefully because you need to take taxi or shuttle bus to get this hotel and snows could shutdown JR to Sapporo/Otaru. Enjoy the trip, don't be rush.

kind of weird. it's full of candles and that felt really kitschy. the hotel just feels old, like it hasn't been updated in 30 years. there's a convenience store in the lobby, which came in handy. we also needed a few things sent to the room and the service was lightning fast. one of those items was a baby crib and it didn't have an actual mattress, just a folded down blanket. consequently, we slept with the baby in the bed with us

Thank you very much for staying at Otaru Asari Classe Hotel from several hotels this time. I would like to thank you again for receiving valuable opinions. The hotel has a concept of candle resort and about 100 candle lights are welcoming customers in the lobby. Otaru Asari Classe Hotel celebrates its 28th year of business opening, we can not say that the building is new, but we are doing refurbishment little by little. Valuable opinion that the customer felt makes the hotel better at the front. We will take seriously as future tasks and we will strive for improvement. When you come to Otaru, please come to Otaru Asari Classe Hotel.

We stayed at a very big room with a private outside hot spring with snow and forest view , the room is awsome which I highly recommanded . Breakfast is nice with lot of choices, the dinner included is fair. But the hotel is far away from Otaru station and the shuttle bus from or to hotel is very limited. However, the winter snow view around the hotel is gorgeous as its located at the snow mountain. Staff are nice . There is a chinese female staff greet us when we check in , who is friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful stay there for one night , i will definitely go there again

Highlight of this hotel might be its spa and hot springs that is outside and is amazing during the winter with snow. An experience I had and will never forget. Service was great and breakfast was a buffet of many varieties. Also, right across, about a 15mins walk is Asari Ski Resort. It was very convenient since I booked the hotel to board. It's a little out of the city and needs the bus to get to right after the JR train. Buses are sometimes every 30mins too so be prepared to plan the timing of things if it's a tight schedule

Pros: Reasonable Price, nice scenery just next by hill, good service, good hot spring facilities, breakfast buffet is excellent. Cons: far away from city centre, not recommend to stay without car; clean condition of toilet is just fair, but u can shower at hot spring instead of in the room. Overall: recommend ! 👍🏻👍🏻

We came from Sapporo with a direct bus which stops right outside the hotel and it is conveniently located to Asari ski resort (1 min drive) Free shuttle bus to the ski resort in the day at selected timings (see photo) - can check with the lobby staff at the counter. If you miss the bus timing you can ask them for a Taxi voucher and the staff will call a taxi to pick you from the hotel. This is not publicized but if you ask, they will offer. Very good service! This hotel provides travel adaptor (subjected to availability)! Counter staff speaks good English (selected few,not all). Love the hot springs at this hotel as it has an outdoor area to look at the nice snowy mountain view, great for relaxation! Highly recommend this place for skiing and to stay the night to recharge!
