We have stayed before and will likely stay again . This time our room was a bit tired. Breakfast was pretty good and the onsen is teriffic with 700 yen charge - why not just fold it into the room rate? Efficient shuttle to/from airport but less frequent than I remember .

The room is old & carpet is dirty. It’s my first time to see the washroom is in green color which looks scary. I wonder if I’m back to 80’s hotel. This is my second time booked for this hotel, but it was fine last time in the “main building”. This time my room located in the “garden wing”. Please say NO Btw, the staff cannot communicate in English properly. This is my last time to stay in this hotel

I picked this hotel due to natural hot spring / onsen that hey offered near Narita Airport. The room was surprisingly tiny, outdated and stuffy. The air conditioning does not work and I was told not to turn it on as it. then the hotel stuff offered a fan. I booked the room for 1 adult, 2 children. I am expecting King size bed, but it only has a double size bed. Only 2 towels, 2 yukata provided. I was here just for a transit. I will never choose to come back to this hotel. bad choice for the room outdated condition.

We were travelling in Japan for two weeks and stayed at the Art Hotel the night we landed in Narita and the night before we flew home, so twice. The first time we were there we had booked the standard room with breakfast, the room was very dated, linen was clean but try not to look at anything else too closely, especially the bathroom. In saying that, we didn’t spend too much time in our room, straight after we checked in and left our luggage in our room we headed for dinner at Soh which was lovely and reasonably priced. We went for a wander around the hotel before getting changed for the onsen, which was absolutely amazing and a must do for anyone staying at this hotel, ¥700 for an entry which included access the next morning. The next morning we went for the onsen again before having the amazing breakfast, from memory the breakfast was roughly ¥1000 extra per person but it’s well worth it, so much to choose from and the quality of food is great. On our way home we stayed at the Art hotel again before our flight home, this time we had paid a little bit more and stayed in a Comfort Room. The comfort room was a lot better than the standard room, not only is it bigger but looked like it had been recently renovated and better maintained. We had to request for late checkout and that was ¥2200 per hour. The staffs are great, very helpful, they don’t all speak good English but will try to help you where possible. Google translate may come in handy. Overall, if I ever needed to stay in Narita, I would not hesitate to stay at the Art Hotel again, but I would definitely be booking myself into a Comfort room instead of a standard room. I love the onsen, the buffet breakfast, the location, the shuttle and the staff.

I would not stay here again. We were transiting and were only in the room from 8am - 6pm but had to pay for 2 nights (almost $400). The room was furnished in 1970 and hasn't been touched since. It was so outdated it was almost funny. It was tiny and stuffy. The staff were not very friendly. We had arrived after an overnight flight and wanted to get something to eat - the only thing available was a buffet breakfast. Their "convenience" store opened at 5pm (not very convenient!) and the vending machines had water, coffee or alcohol. The hotel is nowhere near any other shops so we had to wait until lunch started at noon to get something to eat. Very strange in an airport hotel to have such limited facilities. They do have their own mineral pools and traditional Onsen so we did use that for an hour or so to fill in some time. Definitely felt ripped off by the price and lack of comfort and facilities. Oh and the free shuttle wouldn't take us to the Terminal we needed that night so we had to pay for a taxi.

Family and i stayed in room 401, a 40 sqm2 triple room in the main building. Room was big, with sofa, humifier and green tea provided. However the sides of the room was extremely dusty. Shuttle service to the airport was avail limited to 20 pax as the bus is co shared with ANA Hotel. Taxi fare to NRT airport is about 2500Y and to the nearby premium outlet mall about 5000Y. Osen was opened from 6 am to 11 pm, 700Y Payment can be made during checkout. The open air onsen was a nice experience in the cold winter. Convenient store is opened from 5 pm to 10 pm. Stayed at Mystay NRT previously and will opt for Mystay NRT due to cleaner room, 24/7 Family Mart and non sharing airport shuttle bus.

Hotel is well located, close to Narita and they have shuttles to Narita, Narita station and the Aeon Mall. Price was reasonable, Breakfast was good and staff is great. But rooms are small and very old, carpets both on hallways and rooms smell. cleaning is not done properly, ventilation is dirty. I even asked for another room but it had the same smelly carpet.

It's pretty nice! I booked it because it was affordable and near the airport. There are mixed reviews, as there is an old and new building. We stayed in the new wing, and it was very nice! It's modern and clean and service was good. Some staff can speak English well, other times we used google translate. Rooms were a bit too warm for us though, even with the central air vent fully open. We did walk through the garden wing while looking for the garden. It is kind of shabby looking, I don't think it'd be as nice of a stay. Shuttle bus was really really useful. One bus goes to the airport, the other goes to the mall and train station. Thanks to this we saved a lot on taxis and got to do all our planned activities. Buffet is pretty good, especially breakfast! A little bit pricy though, it's worth trying but we went to the mall and bought takeout for most of our meals after. I also was hoping to try the onsen, but even small tattoos aren't allowed unfortunately. Overall I'd come back as long as the prices are good.

Had a flight layover night, and extended it to two nights. Very convenient hotel to get to using the hotel shuttle from Terminal 1 (hotel bus stop #16) at Narita airport. Stayed in the Garden wing, which was dated, but clean and functional. The breakfast was excellent with many choices and everything fresh. Staff was helpful and friendly. I'll stay here again!

Very convenient for travelers with long layover in Narita. The onsen is amazing! Kimonos are provided if you are going to use the onsen. For first timers to onsens, you have to keep your shoes in the lockers before you enter the onsen. There is another locker inside for your clothes and belongings. You have to be in your birthday suit when entering the bath area. Phones are not allowed inside the bath area! The onsen for men and women are of course separate. The hotel offers free airport shuttle service. If I remember it correctly, the restaurant closes at 9pm so we had to buy our dinner from the convenience store (that is open until 10pm) inside the hotel. Would love to stay here again.
