This ryokan is wonderful. We booked the japanese room and slept on the floor, with the tatami. I must confess we slept in a wonderful and comfortable way. Staff was very nice and friendly. The Japanese dinner was wonderful, as the breakfast was. The onsen was a great experience. Wifi was working good. Not too close to the train station...

Stayed at Lalaca for 1 night. Chose this hotel to experience a smaller, family run ryokan. Our room was a traditional Japanese room with tatami floor and futon beds (put out at night). Overall, the room was okay, a little worn down and dark, but comfortable and had great views of the mountains. Onsen comprised of 4 small baths, 2...

We have a very bad experience with Lalaca hotel 乐之花酒店, It's seems we are cheated by this hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. We book 16 NOV.2016 Lalaca hotel through booking.com on 17 Sept.2016. However booking.com said we have a right and free to cancel before 9 Nov.2016. Also said they would not charged from our credit card except we don't...

We came here to see a more traditional Japanese hotel and we were very pleased from beginning to end. Extremely friendly and helpful, true experience with tatami, yukata, traditional meal, onsen - public or private. Nothing negative, except maybe the very elaborate traditional breakfast with fish larvae. It is a bit off track, but that's the whole point; walkable distance...

Lalaca as a Ryokan is a special place, when your there it feels like your in a 80's future modern building, part colours, part carpet, part decor, this wasn't a bad thing at all. With huge glass walls looking outside to the beautiful greenery, it was a peaceful escape. The staff were courteous and pleasant to talk with. They were...

It was my first experience staying in ryokan, sleeping a la Japanese and having the Kaiseki dinner. It was amazing. The area is very quiet yet not far to the tram station that brings people to Mount Fuji sightseeing center. The room was comfortable, nice touch having kimono for the guests. The onsen was small and there is a private...

We were visiting Japan and wanted to stay as the locals would and hence stayed during Sakura'16 at this place. It took us a wee bit of time to find the location as most of the road signs are in Japanese. We aksed couple of people on the way and finally reached. It is a steep climb from Gora station....

Clean and homely ryokan, with indoor public bath and outdoor private bath. Complimentary Japanese tea and snacks were provided. Spacious room and futon was comfortable to sleep on. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Convenient to reach from Gora Cable Car Station. Gora Park is nearby.

This little gem has lovely traditional style rooms and an in house onsen. Onsen was a little small but perfect for the size of the hotel. Our dinner and breakfast really stood out. The quality and variety of food was just amazing. Great place to stay at.

On a first trip to Japan, Lalaca was the stand-out for accommodation. Comfortable bedding together with excellent quality food made this an unforgettable experience. The place is a modern building with a mix of traditional & "western" style rooms. We booked the traditional room as we wanted to experience that at least once together with the onsen - and it...

“If you want a private 'shower/bath, ask for the Western-Japanese room, but definitely indicate that you would like to sleep on a tatami mat. Don't miss out on dinner and breakfast. You can reserve directly with the hotel via email. They only accept cash, however you can pay the full total beforehand, using a credit card - very easy if you don't carry a lot of cash! I had room 301, big with a great view and very quiet.”
