Taxi drivers in Japan are quite honest. I would not worry about getting scammed. Your only concern should be how many pieces of luggage you have. Japanese cab trunks are not so voluminous. I'd guess ~4 normal rollaboards and... More
Taxi drivers in Japan are quite honest. I would not worry about getting scammed. Your only concern should be how many pieces of luggage you have. Japanese cab trunks are not so voluminous. I'd guess ~4 normal rollaboards and smaller bags will fit ok. If you have 2 large suitcases, you might need to take 2 cabs. In that case. it might be better to take an airport limousine bus which will have no luggage limits and are usually quite convenient and comfortable. Stupid tripadvisor will not allow me to post the link but you can get it from the hotel web site.
