This hotel is very overpriced - $600 US per night - for what it is. It is one of the most expensive hotels I have ever stayed in and also one of the worst. I emailed to book a spa treatment for both myself and my husband 5 days before our planned trip and was told the spa was female...

The Hotel has a beautiful elegant feel about it. The staff were extremely helpful. If there were language difficulties there was always someone at hand to help out and the food was elegantly served. Our room at its private Onsen that made it even more special.

It came with a spacious tatami living room and a futon was laid out for us at night. So each of us had our owned...

As I was driving into the hotel after heavy rain getting off the ramp from the Nikko express way, I was a bit disappointed by the exterior of the hotel. It looked somewhat old and outdated. Getting closer to the entrance, two people greeted our car with nice smile, and that's when it started raining again. Look at the entrance...

“Make sure you find out what room you have been allocated before you leave home - we were told our's would be allocated upon arrival - it was average and not one of the rooms shown on their website - we were told that this room was reserved for people who book on booking websites - choose another hotel would be my advice”
