Imenakiya hot-spring 犬鳴山温泉(いぬなきやまおんせん) is probably the only natural onsen in Osaka Prefecture. We stayed here for a night to catch our flight in the next morning. I think this is a much better choice than a transit hotel in the Kansai airport area, yes, only if you travel by a car. The driving to the airport is about forty minutes....

This spa hotel is perfect for a one night stay. It is located up in the mountains with a splendid view of a river. Be sure that you also book the traditional Japanese cuisine because it definitely a memorable experience.
