I spent here 1 night on a business trip. The hotel is conveniently located, 5 mins walking from Hakata station, served by the Shinkansen. The room was really small and hot (the a/c wasn't working that well), so was the bathroom. Wifi was quite terrible, however after complaining the reception kindly offered me a portable wifi to take to my... More

There were 3 of us friends and we each got our own rooms. This has got to be the smallest room I've ever stayed in in all of my trips to Japan. But since I had my own room, I had just enough space for myself. This would really feel cramped for two persons. The ensuite bath was also the... More

I visited my daughter in Miyakonojo Japan and travelled solo from the UK. Having been unable to get a better flight, I made several connections before landing in Fukuoka. My daughter had previously stayed here so she had recommended the New Gaea Hakata Eli Minami for a place to rest my head and recharge my batteries. I was not disappointed.... More

Good location, walk 5 minutes to hakata station. There are many food around this hotel! Kind service. People are nice and willing to help! A little too small and humid... You can't open 2 26" luggage at the same time. And the bathroom is so humid after using.

Some posters have mentioned how this place can be difficult to find. I had trouble following the directions I found on the internet, but eventually stumbled on the place anyway. I walked out of the west exit of Hakata station over to the main road, and then turned left and walked along the side walk. When the road more or... More

It takes only about five minute on foot from JR Hakata Station. In the lobby, the first thing that caught my eyes was goldfish scooping. After the check-in, they fed me shaved ice.In the extension of the lobby, many books are available for you read freely (all are Japanese). Coffee and Japanese tea are provided also for free. A room... More

Just a 5-7 mins walk to Hakata JR station and Subway, the major hub to almost everywhere, yet it's situated near residential area which is far from the noisy street. The premise and room are exactly the same as what is shown on its web: clean and cozy. Though it's a tiny room, you will find the basics you need... More
