Overall, the sea view is good and the service is good especially one of the male staffs explained info of the hotel clearly and very helpful enough, however, we found a lot of deficits as follows: 1) the indoor slippers are smelly and not hygiene enough, felt itchy and had rashes on feet after wore, hopefully not serious feet diseases,...

We booked the huge suite (it's rather a flat) on the top floor of the main building, overseeing the ocean. There are 2 rooms and a private outdoor onsen with excellent sunrise direction. Nothing to complain about the room at all, clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast included, in the restaurant but each table separated by high "paper" walls which...

Stayed in sea front western room with indoor onsen and sofa. Sound of lapping waves therapeutic with piped in soft music. Hot spring bath could be larger can only fit one person. Also ledge was very dirty with lots of black soot which spoils the soaking experience. No glass but net like curtain. Cleanliness can be improved as many areas...

We came here in late September with rather high expectations given the reviews of TA, and boy, we were not disappointed. Just about the only downside is that this hotel/ryokan is not located in the vicinity of the JR station, but the bus/taxi ride is a only a small inconvenience. The plus points include: - Great room; we had room...

Definitely rank 1 in Beppu. Luxury room with private onset and balcony. The onsen is gorgeous with beautiful seaview. There is KFC in the opposite road and teppanyaki within 3 mins walking distance. We decide to have dinner at Benya restaurant which is a good decision. The staff is attentive and speak good english. The food is good with reasonable...

The hotel is located near to Beppudaiguku station, one stop away from Beppu station. A ticket costs 210yen. You can take a taxi from Beppudaiguku station, 640yen flat rate (within 1.5km) for a 5 mins ride, or 15 mins walk to the hotel which is just opposite a KFC. We book a twin room that comes with private onsen overlooking...

Stayed in the hotel for one night in April 2016. The room was huge and luxurious with a big balcony with excellent sea view where you can watch the sunrise. There is one small hotspring inside the room facing the sea but we went to both the public hotspring on the top of the hotel and also the one on...

This ryokan is much beyond my expectation. It is new, stylish, with a stunning view. My friend and I chose to stay at the ryokan for its remarkable onsens instead of going to see Beppu's renowned 'Hells', and it was worth it! Seikai is a newly refurbished ryokan-style hotel, located by the Beppu sea. It is approx 10 mins from...

Me and my wife lived there on 15/4/2016. Spacious room with wonderful scene of the beppu sea. The in-room ourdoor hotspring was great, where you can enjoy the starry sky or the sunrise in the sea with your family privately. The great kumamoto earthquake happened that night at around 1am, where everything was shaking in the room. The TV set...
