This camp is excellent, we have had such a good time here and even extended our stay. You are welcomed with singing and dancing by all staff, with a drink and fresh juice. Wonderful ambiance, pool and pool bar, spa/massage, delicious plentiful, freshly cooked food, beautiful gardens, lovely and friendly staff, great tent, fully furnished, good quality giftshop, viewing point...

Sentrim is a nice tented lodge with a great view on the Kilimajaro. The tents are very spacious, clean, with a concrete made and comfortable bathroom, then the bedroom area, a small terrace (some of the tents have direct view on the Kilimanjaro). It is nicer than most 4 stars European hotels I visited recently... Beside the view point, there...

We stayed in this tented camp following a "break" in Nairobi after five days on safari. Our earlier tent experience at Siana Springs gave us a valid comparison and although the location (with a great view of Mt. Kilimanjaro) was good, the tired decor inside the tent just didn't stack up. The bedding actually seemed less than pristine. The tents...

While on safari to Kenya and Tanzania, we stayed in this lodge for two nights. The grounds are very nice, there is entertainment nightly, and the staff is accommodating. However, the rooms, while roomy, are basic. The bathrooms did not have quality towels (no washcloths) and the room was extremely dimly lit. The major problem with this lodge was the...

the lodge is a wonderful place, just outside the Amboselie with a lovely garden which is well tended and the viewing site for the kilimanjaro is fantastic,- there were zebras just behind the gates of the lodge at the water hole next to the kilimajoaro viewing site - the tents are lovely and very confortable and the bar/swimming pool and...

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The site is a few kilometers from the entrance to Amboseli National Park, and the accommodation is luxury tents. That was an accurate description. They were spacious, comfortable, modern and well appointed. The food was very good, especially the pizzas and pasta which are cooked fresh on request. The staff were friendly and helpful, and...

This is a relatively new property (about 4 years old). It is down a bumpy dirt road, but once you get on the grounds, you feel welcomed and just relieved to have gotten to pseudo-civilization. There is an open-air dining room, bar, pool, pool bar, Kiliminjaro viewing site, and the tented lodgings are more than adequate. If it hadn't been...

The Amboseli Sentrim. Going in and out of the camp at the Amboseli is....dusty! The wind blows and you feel like you are in a dryer, but it's just part of the experience. The accomodations are 'tent' like, very airy, the wind blows through the tent and makes the curtains inside the tent blow across the room. The shower is...

I spent 2 nights here while searching for birds. You sleep in a tent, but it is a very nice tent. The bathroom is in a room by itself inside the tent. The food was ok but not especially great.

If you want to enjoy the "safari" experience and you're a little older, so you don't want the real "rough" stuff, the Sentrim Amboseli is perfect! The tent gives you a real outdoors feel, but thankfully the shower and toilet facilities are good (a door to the toilet would be better, but they at least have a hairdryer!) It was...
