Hidden in the dry Kenyan South is a luxurious safari lodge, Tawi Lodge. A lodge built with all its facilities facing the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro; from the rooms to the dining area, to the bar and the swimming pool, the amazing view of the mountain lingers. Even the bathroom has a window facing the mountain! No worries about the...

Tawi was absolutely fabulous in every way. We would like to have stayed longer but our timetable didn’t allow. The views of Mt. Kilimanjaro are completely fabulous, both from the lodge and from our tent. The pool area was beautiful although we didn’t swim, and they do have a small spa. The game viewing is good but not as good...

Perfect location, just outside the park set in a conservancy. The hosts made us feel very welcome and offered every assistance required. Food was a set menu either 3 or 4 courses, limited choice but more than enough to keep you well fed during your stay. Each lodge is set along a gravel path leading away from the restaurant, some...

We have just returned from a truly fantastic two day stay at Tawi Eco Lodge and private Conservancy and what an amazing experience it was. We booked purely on the personal recommendation of a friend but as it turned out the excellent reviews here on TripAdvisor didn't actually do justice to such a terrific experience. We ( my family of...

A petite and quite lodge. With big breath taking mt kilimanjaro views from the rooms wins it. The menu is very restrictive but tasty. The staff are really kind and try very much to make you feel at home.

We went for two nights and this may well be my last Kenyan safari so wanted to make it memorable. Most of the time we were the only family (7 of us) and it was just stunning. The location, the sleeping cottages with views on MtKi, lovely pool, gardens. So peaceful. Staff we knew by name and were so friendly,...

Tawi Lodge is set on a picturesque location overlooking Mt. Kilimanjaro. The gate to the Amboselli park is not far, some 15-20 minutes drive away. The bandas are done perfectly with some details here and there. The food is good and the staff is kind. There were some miaunderstandings from the plans of the day, so better double-check the programme...

This is a top quality eco-lodge in its own Conservancy. Just 13 cottages, so intimate. Each cottage wonderfully spacious and well appointed with major bath-tub and rain-shower, both looking out over the watering hole. Really attentive and friendly "nothing is a problem" service from Barack (manager in charge), Dominic and Justus (serving food) to the cleaners and (night) guards. The...

We love this place. The rooms are amazing, with great good and the staff soo friendly. We did morning game drives and then spent the rest of the day chilling by the fab pool. We happened to overlap with the Masai Olympics - a fun cultural event that only takes place once every 2 years in early December. Menno the...
