I stayed at this camp as part of my birthday celebration. On our first night stay, the staff presented me with a special cake and sang birthday wishes. The camp is beautiful, the staff is attentive, and I didn't want to leave. Our head waiter, Ken Oketch, was amazing and provided top notch service to us, with a beautiful smile...

We spent a few days here to enjoy the great animal and wildlife diversity that can be found in Samburu and were not disappointed when on game drives. The camp itself is of a pretty good standard, with nice comfortable tents, well equipped and with everything you need for a pleasant stay, whilst being positioned with a good view of...

Luxury tented camping at its best. I loved the still quite of the night. yes you may hear some animal noises, but if you can't appreciate it, stay home., this is Africa..... Naughty monkeys, wiild dogs, thrilling to me. You are surrounded by an electrical fence. Large lovely bed with mosquito netting, nice bathroom, tea brought to you in the...

Had a lovely time at this camp while exploring Samburu. The staff are very friendly and helpful - thanks to Josephat for lovely service. Pool is nice, food is good. The educational talks are nice at 7 each night. Most importantly, well-located to grab the big 5 (both traditional and specific to Samburu). Found our first leopard after many many...

We stayed at Samburu Intrepids Camp in March 2017. It was terrible. We didn't sleep a wink because of the dogs barking in the village across the river. It is such a shame as the camp is a beautiful spot. Definitely would never stay there again.

Absolutely loved the kids group (we had 5 with us), took a lot of pressure off, we had the 6.30 am and the 4pm safari drives with Dominic......he knows exactly the terrain, the wildlife, where to be and when. The talks on culture of the tribe and the big cats were well worth taking the time. The food was excellent,...

Samburu Intrepids is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly, especially Alexander who kept the monkeys away from the dining room and Cleo who was my server in the dining room. The meals were all fantastic. It was not at all busy when I was there, only 2-3 other parties so it felt like I had the...

Dear Dj, We are so happy and proud to note that you really had a memorable stay with us. The staff here are committed to making sure that they exceed guest expectations. We have noted the issue of securing a tent with a table and a mat. We have now gotten a way of putting zippers together without having to...

Want a family feeling, a great atmosphere! Do you want great quality! Great pool! The view on the river is perfect! Open spaces. However I would say that it's location is not the best. Yet this comes with advantages as you are in a quiet and pristine environment without noise interference. Beats most of its competition.

Samburu on my second visit proved as fantastic as on the first although the season was different and due to drought there was less wildlife. In many safaris over the last three years I have not seen as many leopards so easily as in Samburu (three in a day on my fist visit and two in a day on my...
