Eating breakfast, and being asked to step aside because 'Sam is coming' was the best thing ever! Sam is the frequently visiting elephant that roams through the camp. A gentle giant, and staff is always there to ensure safety of guests and the elephants. The tents were extremely roomy and comfortable and border the river, which draws the attention of... More

Upon arriving at the remarkable and engaging camp, the first notice was that elephants have temporarily altered our dining arrangements! A young bull, intent on harvesting the fallen fruit of the Dr. Seuss-like doum palm had taken over the riverside dining area to munch on his own one course meal! My grandsons were delighted beyond measure, and the cautious and... More

It is very difficult to find fault with this lodge. Food very good for such an isolated place. Friendly staff, nice rooms and we had to move from our breakfast tables while an elephant walked through the camp.

Really enjoyed our days at Elephant bedroom. Friendly staff, good food, fantastic game drives but also so good to just hang around at the lodge by the elephants. You can't get enough of the view, just sitting there watch the river is great.

This was a great camp. The accommodations were very nice and the staff was very considerate. The camp is located in a beautiful area with fast access to large number of different animals. Game drives can be dusty but that should be expected.

Elephant bedroom is a magnificent destination to say the least. I was there last weekend of October 2016 with my boyfriend and for 2 nights and 2 days. It is the perfect combination of romance, safari, adventure and fun. From the beautiful view of the river, to the amazing sun downers they host for guests and the absolutely breathtaking wild... The experience certainly lives up to the name! There's nothing like waking up in the night to an elephant right outside your window or getting up in the morning to a giraffe by your deck. This place is an oasis in the desert! The rooms are spacious and with power periodically through the day and evening. The food was amazing... More

Just back from this wonderful camp. Great location at the river with daily visits of elephants. They come very close to the tents but staff makes sure you feel safe. Good SPA, lovely staff and fantastic food. Great game drives where we have seen Grevy Zebra's, Orynx Antilope's, Lions, Cheetah's, Leopard, lots of Elephant's and many more....Although no fence it... We had a fantastic family getaway to this amazingly located camp. The good: The elephants roam freely through the property, however with the very knowledgeable guards around the property, we did not even once, feel unsafe. The plunge pool outside every tent is very helpful for the extremely hot afternoons. The camp manager, Joseph, was great. He was very friendly,... More

A long drive from Nairobi but well worth the journey! What a wonderful place with an excellent team of staff. The service and food were excellent and every detail has been well thought out. I will definitely be going back. James was wonderful and really made us feel at home. He is focused on learning peoples names and building rapport.
