Located in Fidar, which is about a 25min walk from Byblos city center, Amada is a comfortable, clean hotel at a decent price. The owner was very friendly as well and even helped me to get a bus into Bsharri. The balcony has a fantastic view of the sea and the beach is just a few minute walk away. Overall,...

I spent almost three weeks at Hotel Amada last month as part of a large group that was traveling together. For the price, this was a great place to stay. Beautiful view of the sea (and even Beirut on clear days), free wi-fi, convenient to beaches and the Jbeil Souk, and clean rooms. What really sets this place apart is...

I was staying one quick night passing through to another city so I was looking for something inexpensive. This place impressed the heck out of me for the price! It was clean and comfortable and super close to the beach. I stuck around a little longer than I planned just to get down to the beach for a couple minutes....

I found this place based on price and did not expect it to be all that great because it was so inexpensive. I was pleasantly surprised! It was very clean and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The beds were comfy and the view of the water is very cool! Request that side if you can. Well worth it!...

Beautiful views of the Sun setting above the sea, ships on the horizon and the banana orchard outside the window. It's a while from Beirut, but just few steps from the highway so you can find a minibus going there and back (-->Dora Roundabout) almost every minute during the day and less frequently, but still, at nighttime. It's only about...

the Amada Hostel is situated ca. 2km before Byblos coming from Beirut. It's just across the bridge at exit AUT (American University of Technology) - local busdrivers will know that stop and drop you of under the bridge. The hostel itself is newly renovated and offers a lot of space on 3 floors. There are dormitories and private rooms. It's...

I stayed in the dorm, but as I was the only one there had the place to myself. View on sea, free wifi, friendly owner. Walking distance to center of Byblos, about 20 minutes. Very good deal, noise of traffic though.

As far as I know, Hotel Amada is technically in the tiny town next door to Byblos known as Fidar, and is about a 30 minute walk away. Even so, it is definitely worth it! The rooms are cheap, the hotel staff are extremely friendly and they also own an excellent, cheap beach bar a 2 minute walk away definitely...
