Basic amenities for a short term stay.
Small rooms no ample space to move around.
Top of fridge and safebox dusty.
No slipper provided (maybe upon request).
Toothbrush is hard.
Mineral Water refilling available at every floor. Approachable receptionists.
Friendly housekeepers.
Would consider again for a one night stay.
1. The rooms are clean.
2. 10 minutes walk to customs
3. The staffs are friendly.
4. Free parking. Reserved parking for customers.
5. Shopping centers and restaurant are nearby.
6. Provide free Singapore entry card form for you to fill if u ask them.
Cons.
1. Hotel location is a little bit hard to find
They have hourly rates, and we did not see any other tourists.
It's very close to City Square mall and the train station and bus terminal as well as the Customs Quarantine and Immigration (CIQ) for the Singapore Woodlands.
The night receptionist was clumsy and had a hard time with our booking. We almost left.
Some of the rooms don't have windows.
They do try, but there are other hotels around.
1. It is located right next to CIQ - for those plan to go Singapore, you can walk to CIQ.
2. It is 150m walk to Ah Yong beef noodle in Restoran Yong Mui & Tan Kee Cathay Laksa in Restoran Shang Ji - you won't be hungry.
3. It costed me RM92.09 (including taxes) for a night stay in Superior room - Use Maybank credit card and www.agoda.com/maybank for booking [7% discount]
4. It is same size as Tune Hotel's Double Room (11 sq m) yet cheaper - Tune Hotel would charge me RM104 for a night on same date.
5. The ratio of en-suite bathroom to room was very balanced - Bathroom was very spacious and clean; room had sufficient walking space.
6. Comfort level was 8/10 - Air conditioning was strong; bed was clean and no funky smell; heater, water kettle, towels, toiletries and wardrobe were provided; full body mirror was attached on the wall in the room.
Points for improvements (but no complaints):
1. Queen bed was slightly too small for tall people.
2. TV was slightly pixelated
5-10 mins walk to mall and customs with sheltered stairway.
Mini market beside the hotel.
Halal restaurant just in front of the hotel.
Clean and nice room.
Toothbrush and shampoo set are provided.
Hairdryer provided if requested.
Active and helpful staffs.
Cons:-
Room is not so soundproof.
