Hotel is just 30 mins drive from CIQ, it’s placed in a beautiful Harbour and we totally love the environment, the views, the activities, the rooms, the staff…. Absolute Great Stay! Special mention to Duty Manager Ili whose quick wittedness helped us to get a baby cot at a time when they have fully ran out of cots due to high volume. Her team assembled one set from some old stocks and spruce it up to a good usable condition. We were so thankful for that. Her team mates Gwen, Farizah and Veronica delighted us with their very sincere welcome as we arrived early in the morning and made us feel very at home. Our request for a set of connecting rooms are met and the rooms are very clean, cosy and really looks new and classy. We will definitely come back again! Oh Yes!! Breakfast was really good!! Prata booth was the delight!!…
Worst hotel ever. 5 stars ??? - check out at 11 am. You might as well put 9 am or 8 am. First time I have seen a hotel that requires guest to check out at 11 am. - lousy breakfast. And I mean real bad. No variety & the bun is harder than the stone outside. This hotel should just close down. 5 stars hotel what a joke
I think the hotel is not up to fully operational status post covid. the whole area and the check in lobby is like a ghost town and not all of their F&B are open. I had booked an executive suite because it advertised as club floor access but on check in was told the club lounge was not operating. Check in was at 3pm, but even at 4pm plus we still did not have the room. The room itself was okay and generally clean but small things like - remotes no battery, the aircon was stuck on permacold temp and the only solution was to turn it off in one room. As such, i did not bother to try their restaurant or room service as i did not wish to be dissapointed further. also the carpark is in a fairly decrepit state. there was overflowing rubbish at the rubbish bin by the lift lobby entrance as well, which isnt generally the way you wish to start a visit to a hotel. I am rating this a two for now. If they improve overall across the board then no doubt the rating can potentially go up but for now i will not likely return to this establishment.…
Aircon was not working. Temperature was fixed at 20 celcius despite setting to 32 celcius throughout the night. It’s freezing cold. Told the recep to either fix or change the room for me while I was out in the day, apparently didn’t check and didn’t prepare a new room, only checked and eventually changed a room for me at night, not until I asked and sat at the lobby. Breakfast in Harbour Cafe was horrible. Apparently no duty manager managing it. Coffee machine was broken and no one notice until I told the staff who didn’t know how to fix and eventually didn’t get it fix. Empty fruits counter, until I told another counter staff to replenish, before the new tray of fruits was served it was emptied by all other customers, the counter remained empty. Queue was horrible, waited ten minutes just for fried eggs. Wanted to order noodles soup, was told to wait for five minutes apparently the soup was not ready. You think this is last problem? No, the phone in the new room wasn’t working. So I couldn’t call the recep and couldn’t order in-room dining. So, walked all the way down to lobby recep to ask for help. Worst hotel, not to mention this is SHANGRI-LA.…
The rooms were great, the coffee house have got great staffs from the kitchen till the waiting staffs. Many surrounding business have suffered due to Covid and didn't pull through tough time, Its time to rebuilt and its a good place to stay. Since many shop outlets are closed, we had very quite and nice room even though the hotel is only 3 stories high.
The pandemic was a cold squib for businesses and travellers . We drove from Singapore to Puteri Harbour. Very sad to see many of the business closed at Puteri Harbour, including Hello Kitty World….sigh! BacchusJ, our favourite Italian-Japanese restaurant was no more. Hotel Jen remains open. The deluxe room was clean. The staff were polite. Breakfast spread was surprising good spread, considering the hotel’s very low occupancy. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful; many thanks to Syarvina and Raudshan. Hotel Jen is a comfortable hotel. Puteri Harbour is a quiet respite and getaway from the crowds.
Big and Luxurious rooms with all facilities you want. Hotel rooms have wooden floors, electrical blinds, very comfortable bed ! Check in was slow and some miscommunication during breakfast but limited staff probably still very low occupancy, due to Covid. Hotel is located in a really nice area, adjacent to the marina. Restaurants around the hotel are just opening up and it is for sure a nice area to stay.
Worst hotel ever which I stayed for the past 5 years. 1) Security Staff make up my room and leave my door unlocked. As I'm not in my room, anyone could have come in and take away your valuables. Called the reception to inform them to ensure their staff close the door properly after they left the room. They responded sure, and hang up. Called them back again, and they say will repair my door. No apology was offered. Finally found a way to let their duty manager know and she came up to my room apologizing with a cake. Point is staff at counter was inexperienced, poor in english, poorly trained (in terms of communicating with customers) and also poor understanding ability. A hotel is suppose to offer you the security but for this, this is a failure. 2) Service. This is a 4 star hotel maintained by a bunch of irresponsible, non service orientated and rude personnel. I have plenty of examples to justify my claim during my 3 weeks (and still counting) stay here. a) Inconsistency in housekeeping - forget to provide complimentary water, forget to provide towel, forget to provide floor mat, forget to empty rubbish bin. Almost everyday they will forget something. Its ok if its occasionally but its too often. b) Extremely slow service - Extending from previous point. Since they forget towel, floor mat etc, will call their reception to request these items be delivered to my room. 20 mins later, you call again, they say they will send up shorty again. After 10 mins, I went to their reception, saw the guy take the floor mat slowly walk towards the lift. He say took a while because he is eating. Such a big hotel with so many idle staff, only one guy can deliver floor mat. In addition, ask for utensils to be delivered. Took them 25 mins and when I called again, they say will deliver shortly. Went down to their reception to ask them to pass me immediately, they ask me to go back and I went back, they put utensils (spoon , fork) on the floor and just left it there. Its unhygenic and common sense not to leave food/ utensils on the floor. Another incident, I requested someone collect my laundry. called at 4.30 pm, no one pick up. Called at 6 pm, say will collect shortly. Call at 7 to state that I am leaving hotel, come in and pick up when I am not around in which they acknowledge "noted". Came back after 4 hours and my laundry is still in my room. No choice, brought the laundry to the reception and asked why no one collect after repeated calls, they mention ok, will check? No apology given and worst, literally state "now you give this time, only tomorrow will send out, so you will not receive fast". IT WAS LATE BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS TO COLLECT IT!. Note there are not many occupants so "too busy" is not an excuse. Also, whatsapp the duty manager why did they not collect my laundry despite repeated reminders and no response. Another incident was at the restaurant for breakfast. Inside there was only 3 tables including me. Order eggs and after 10 mins, I remind and the staff oh ok, and started cooking (obviously forgotten about it) The immediate following day, ordered again, and the eggs never came after 15 mins. Asked the staff and they literally responded "Oh, ok , ah, ok" and walk away. Both days, there were more staff than the number of people dinning in. However, the staff were like walking, chatting, doing nothing. Read other reviews about this hotel before I came and all were bad. Most were criticizing about the service which i thought can't be bad for a 4 star rating hotel but now, I'm convinced this hotel sucks. The hotel is nice, but the people managing it needs proper training in terms of hospitality, English, service and using common sense. Suggest to not stay in this hotel. Nearby this hotel, there are plenty of service apartments and its advisable to stay there. The hotel staff here have a can't be bothered attitude. Try it at your own risk Take note they are slack at covid 19 protocols. Saw cases people walking around not wearing masks and the staff can't be bothered to remind. Also, the security does not ensure check in using the app and only randomly took temperature of some personnel.…
Hotel room is clean but Came here for hotel harbour view room end up whole building close for quarantine customer . Super disappointed ! I would not do the booking here if we are aware on the harbour view building has been close for quarantine customer / patient . Since this area is kind of empty
- Room : Good, clean & comfortable - Facility : Spa(closed), Restaurants on sites(closed), massage services(closed), Pool(not clean), walkway & other areas(very dirty), internet(works at extremely slow speed). - Information : I totally understand if some of your most exciting facilities are closed due to pandemic effects, but why on your official website & at other booking sites, it was not stated as such. It even looks as if you are promoting your hotel still using all these closed facility. We only get to know all the facility is closed once we arrived at the hotel. Very much disappointed. - Front desk - Not properly trained staff, always looking for other's help even during a simple check in & check out procedures. Doesn't know how to use credit card machine properly, end up charging twice and need to wait for the money to be returned to us.…
