LEGOLAND Hotel Malaysia offers a whimsically themed atmosphere that captivates children, according to guests, who also appreciate its prime location near the theme park and mall. Despite the playful room themes, some travelers express concerns about their quality and maintenance. While the hotel's cleanliness generally receives praise, there have been reports of issues such as stains and ants. Service is often lauded for being attentive; however, there are occasional inconsistencies noted. Although the amenities are family-friendly, guests suggest they could benefit from enhancements.

We have been to Legoland for more than 3 times and the kids are never bored! They looked forward to the bunk bed and the Lego treasure in the room. Whats great
is now Legoland provides free kids sized toothbrushes (with suction), unlike the last few times we went there! Since we are frequent hotel guests, we were upgraded to a room with a view of Legoland Park!
For areas of improvement, it will be better if we were given a room that is nearer to the lift landing and within the air-conditioned hallway. The 2 times that we stayed before are in rooms that were located along the non air-conditioned hallway that somehow makes the room less cold.
The Legoland Park has a sheltered canopy entrance and that makes so much difference! However, we were quite disappointed to see that the Ninjago ride was under construction as we were looking forward to that ride. We felt that Legoland should put up updates in the website on the rides that are under construction so as to avoid disappointment after coming all the way.
The Medini Mall has improved so much from the last time we visited as there are more F&B restaurants/cafes, shops and an upscale supermarket! So it was a nice evening dinner/stroll after visiting the park.
Looking forward to the next visit!

We were a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 kids aged 12 and 8, so the Premium Kingdom Theme Room was suffice to cater our needs. It was our 3rd time there and we weren't bored with all the activities and excitement the park has provided. The hotel adhered to the SOP set by the Government, with temperature check, hand sanitizer all around the premise, physical distancing stickers on the floor by family bubble, breakfast only by time slot to avoid overcrowding etc. These definitely boosted our confidence on the safety and cleanliness aspects practiced by Legoland. Our heartfelt shout out and thanks to Raj, Shashi and Audrea for all the assistance rendered throughout the stay. Will definitely return.

The service here is fantastic. We were greeted right from the carpark exit by their friendly staff. The check-in staff was very patient and waited patiently for me as I fumbled through trying to find my hotel booking no. The entire process was very efficient and smooth. We collected our room keys, our free adult ticket (We bought a package which included an adult ticket to 3 parks), wifi details and invoice all in one nice envelope. They even had an express check-out drop bin which you can skip the queue by dropping your card and form into a drop bin near the lift. The treasure hunting in the room created an element of mystery and fun.
Pros: Awesome friendly and patient service. We requested for an extra slipper and it was delivered in a jiffy, followed-up promptly by a friendly call from the counter if we received our requested slipper. How often do you get such dedicated service?! And not sure what shampoo ingredient they used, the smell wasn't fantastic, but left my hair shining and smooth after use. Wish they sell it!
Cons: The tv in the kids' sleeping area wasn't working, but its ok cause my kid was a 1.5 yr old who was more interested going out to the park then watching tv. And pretty sure they would have fixed it or change our room if we informed. But we didnt need to use it.

I booked 2 rooms, Kingdom & Pirate Theme. The pirate theme room was on the same floor as the pool (5th Floor), hence it was an added advantage when you wanna plan for your swimming time as you will know how short or long the queue was!

We booked the buy 1 night free 1 night which was a total bargain! The first time I stayed here 2 years ago it cost me RM660/night (MATTA Fair promo), but during this unprecedented pandemic, we got to enjoy the room for RM605 for 2 nights. Such a stealer.

There was a minor glitch with my tickets booking for the triple park (water park, theme park & Sealife) but it was settled in a breeze by Ms Sasha Chong. Thank you for being so accommodating.

During this pandemic time, I applaud Legoland for its effort in maintaining the crowd control, and having all SOP intact. Hand sanitizers were everywhere, and temperatures were taken at all entries. No mask, no play (at the theme park). Way to go :)

Although there were no more breakfast buffet, their breakfast selection was not short in choices. We were given 45 minutes (which was more than enough, really) to enjoy pastries, nasi lemak/nasi goreng, cereals (upon request), coffee & tea (even teh tarik), and western breakfast.

Hotel pool is limited to 40 min only (1st day of stay) but later cut shorter to 30 min on second day as they had more people (Sunday). It'd be nice if we can swim longer but we totally understand the necessity to impose such rules. Something is better than nothing, after almost 3 months 'locked' in own house, its nice to see the pool again. So we made do with the short time use of the pool.

Thank you Legoland, for making our stay such a memorable one. We will definitely return for more memories.

We booked 3 nights in a Pirate Room for a family trip with our 3 year old son. The rooms were fantastic with the pirate themed wall paper, doona covers and lego ornaments. Our son also loved the bunk beds and basin/mirror at his height and duplo to play with. Solving the questions to unlock the chest and get the lego treasure was lots of fun.
The staff were wearing masks and you constantly saw the front doors and high traffic areas being cleaned. Not all areas of the hotel are currently open due to SOPs. We managed to get a swim in both days even though SOPs only allow 15 people in the pool at once. Food options are currently limited but that is understandable given the current circumstances.
Legoland itself was lots of fun and SOPs were followed strictly with everyone having to wear masks, temperature taken, social distancing in lines and on rides, and sanitising by staff in between rides. They were definitely taking the SOPs seriously which was great to see.

We were there 20-22/1/2020, booked kingdom room and was given Room 348, carpet was a bit smell and felt damp when we first walked in, and at around 9pm we started noticing a lot of white little bugs crawling on table. Called for room service and they confirmed it, was changed to room 256 (adventure room), immediately felt the difference as it felt dry and nice in the room. We were offered late check out as an apologies for the inconvenience to move room late at night.

On the day we arrived, when kids were playing at the lego pool at lobby, we also noticed a crab claw (yes, a crab claw!!) on the floor. Might have been some guest that left it there.. not a pretty sight to see on our first day

For the price tag, i felt this whole experience a bit underwhelming. Although the customer service was very attentive, it still doesn't make up for the lack of hygiene practise in such a well known hotel.

Kids did have a lot of fun playing with all the legos big and small in hotel, and enjoyed the dancing during their ride in lift. We also upgraded our pass to Annual pass, intending to return to the theme park and water park end of the year (all the way from Australia), but we are having second thoughts about staying in the same hotel now.

Hope the cleanliness issue will be rectified as will be sad to see this place going down under poor management.

The one and only : Legoland, an international brand hospitality experience here locally. Let me put it this way, this is the only one we have. We have no universal studio and twenty first century walked away on us.

Place that create memories : We been to many resorts and parks, but the top memories for my kids is definitely Legoland and their double decker beds.

This trip : Personally as a family, this particular trip is awesome, the staff at legoland was amazing and they truly keep up with hygiene and sanitization SOP at the highest level. Above all, all the staff kept up their smile while deep inside them was truly keeping Legoland doors open with everything possible things possible.

Comparing my last trip: The cleanliness is definitely top of their game. With the low traffic, we truly enjoy little to no que on all rides. It seems to me there are more serving staff then visitor truly made me feel I’m a VVIP.

The food : Food is now served and no buffet due to hygiene SOP, That’s fine . The opening of Ben Independent Grocer next door truly help by giving the alternative for food choice and kids diet. The convenience of having a grocer next door for all your daily need is so important if you have kids.

Please please please support local tourism and visit Legoland... a place that create memories... priceless

Thanks Legoland

First time being at legoland hotel. Experience is superb, especially kids. We booked the promotion of second free nights and include breakfast for this special period. Worth every penny. Staff is highly trained and professional.

Guess what? Hotel free upgrade us to premium themed room with theme park view. This drive the whole family crazy and excited. Thanks legoland management. You did a very good job on free upgrade make customer happy.

Theme park is fun for my elder but not for younger. Games suitable for kids more than 6yo. Did not see person did sterilise job, but i didnt see doenst means they didnt do. Everywhere is hand sanitiser station for u to sterilise your hand.

Theme park is next door to hotel. It is very convenient.

Totally different experience for the family. Staying in premium room is good whereby we can see the worker did test run for rides. And the sunset view is stunning. We all enjoy it to the max.

Hotel food is so good especially the rempah fried chicken. I ate about 5pcs myself, tambah tambah tambah lagi. My girls love the cheese sausage, soft and taste good.

Will Definitely come again, but can do more promotion next time. Normal price is too high.

A con is the bed in the room is shaky, hope it can change to a better bed.

Have been to legoland hotel a few times for dinner at their restaurant & finally got a chance to stay there during the stay 1 night & get the next night for free.
During check-in, was surprised that they upgraded our room to the Ninjago room. The kids (9 & 5) were extremely excited & had the time of their lives trying to solve the in-room hunt.
The hotel staff, be it manager, concierge and even at the restaurant were always super friendly & ever ready to help. The covid SOP measures set up at the hotel was good, plenty of hand sanitizers all around the lobby area.
Overall, would definitely come back here especially if going to the themepark!

After buying the annual pass, I was entitled a seasonal discount of 35% off room rate. and hence we booked it as the usual going rate is very high. However it still was high compared to other hotels in JB.

initial impressions of the lobby was great - polite staffs (A mention to Eddie for his service), toys and features for the kids to play.

So you can imagine my horror when I stepped out of the lift, and a musty smell hits me. As we are on L3 which is the kingdom floor, I thought maybe the smell is to represent a old castle? 🤷‍♀️

we entered the room and oof, the smell again. quickly turn on the aircon (didnt quite work fast enough, so we left the room and came back few hrs later). and I was disappointed that for a hotel priced in this range, it dosent feel worth it.

(1) no amenities in the room except toothbrush kit and cups, towels and a soap dispenser in the shower area
(2) during this COVID season, shouldn't more emphasis be placed in hygiene? like a bar soap or soap dispenser at the sink?
(3) no shelf at the shower area to place the soap. felt like a gym shower room.
(4) The tv was blocking half the mirror. is this a afterthought? surely the interior design of the room at design stage would not be like that?
(5) tv is poor quality. the resolution felt like that of 1990s.
(6) musty scent of the room was pretty gross

for a room that's around RM820 under promo price - I think the price is not justified. further more this is a promo price, typically it is more expensive.

I have stayed in 2 or 3 stars hotel and I didnt felt it was bad enough for me to leave a review. but this is.
