Detailed Reviews
It is my 3rd day of stay in this resort and it exceeded my expectation. I rented a 5 room villa and it is superbly maintained, comfy and clean. It is located just next to the golf course and the view is fantastic. At night you could hear the sound of insects with cool breeze.
The staff here are helpful and courteous. We had dinner in the Club and most of the dishes are very good especially the duck 🦆 . Activities wise it caters to all age and personalities- we played tennis, table tennis, swimming pool with slide for kids. We’ll like try archery before leaving tomorrow. There are many other things here like table pool, gym, squash, horse riding, a small field for football and of course golf- we won’t have time for all these this time 😉.
I will give a 5 Star ⭐️ rating for this resort in overall offerings, service and value. Keep it up Tg Puteri Golf Resort ⛳️ 👏👏

tot is a beautiful & relaxed getaway....but it turned out to be a life threatening stay! Enjoyable and happy 1st nite stay however the 2nd nite was a horrible & scary nite as if we had been to the valley of death. Sleeping soundly till middle of the nite but woke up by two eyes staring at u holding a knife n big cutter threatening ur life & asking for money! All money & lots of valuable things have been stolen & all adults were being tied up, jus like we are acting in the drama show. Praise the lord! All the children were sleeping peacefully N did not witness this scary & unforgettable incident. Though we are in ONE piece & the mgmt is paying for all the losses but we still cant overcome the trauma.

We booked a Five Bedroom bungalow from Booking.com which we found to be giving the best deal for that weekend. The bungalows are located within the grounds of Tanjong Puteri Golf Club. Check in is located at the main club house at itself. To get to Tanjong Puteri from Johor get be easily accesible via the Pasir Gudang Highway or the East Coast Highway which goes via Permas Jaya. You will have to drive past the Pasir Gudang port and the Chemical Plants (like Titan Chemical) to get to Tanjung Puteri Golf Resort which will be on the right. It is a big contrast of having a Golf Resort right next to a major industrial area. Do take take that the potholes on main road are massive - so drive carefully.
Check in was a breeze and efficient. Service was good. Do take note that you will need to put a security deposit for the TV remote of Rm10 (i think - can't remember the amount).
Security at the entrance of the Bungalows was good as they checked our credentials before allowing us through - this was assuring. When we drove to the bungalow, we were a little worried as the external paint work is old and aged. However, when we entered a house, it was nice; clean and tidy. The bungalows come with driveways to park at least two cars easily - with some skill, should be able to park 4.
The two level Bungalows are fully air conditioned. There is cable TV in the living room as well as the family room on level two. Wifi is available in the Bungalows - though at times, it is a little slow - this is not abnormal in JB as sometimes the normal Wifi at homes are like that. Do note, the kitchen is basic with a fridge and water dispenser only. There is no kettle or microwave. As such, we went and bought our own kettle from a supermarket near by.
The bungalows come with breakfast at the club house. The breakfast is okay - can't really complain. There was Roti Chenai; Nasi Lemak and the usual stuff like eggs; cereal and toasts.
The pool at the club house is nice. There is a proper Olympic sized pool for serious swimmers like myself and there is a nice kiddy pool with a water slide and all for the kids. Next to the pool is a nice playground and at the clubhouse itself, there is a bowling alley. During weekends, the bowling alley can get a little crowded during peak hours. Hence, need to make a booking at the club house. Shoes are available for rental. However, you do need to bring your own socks. The bowling alley is aged and the pin machine kept getting jammed. However, for us, who are playing for fun, it was okay.
There is also a horse riding school/ranch next to the club called amigos horse riding. The kids can go there and enjoy riding a full grown horse.
Do note, especially at night there are not many ammenities like supermarket; shops; malls or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. For Seafood, there is actually are good Kelong restaurants if you drive through the Plam Oil plantation next the golf course.
Just outside the club on the main road there are some small restaurants and more Seafood kelong type along the way at a place called Pasir Putih.
If you need to go to a supermarket, there is a Tesco at Seri Alam (about 15min drive) and there is a Aeon at Permas Jaya (about 20 - 30min drive depending on traffic).
Overall, it is a wonderfull place for kids and family to spend a weekend getaway.

Myself and a few of my colleagues stayed in their villa for almost 2 weeks on a business trip. Overall, I believe this place is not well maintained and required major renovation. The gallery in website appears to be good, but the reality is different. I have summarized my experience below:
Disadvantages:
1. Overall facility is very old and not well maintained.
2. Not very hygiene. The bed we stayed are littered with hair and small pests like cockroaches.
3. Too much pests (cockroaches and lizards).
4. The water has particular smell.
5. They did not provide laundry bags.
6. For many days, there were no water supply in our villa and we had to switch between 2 villas for bathing in the morning.
7. There was a constant noise of what I believe was running motor/pump/air-conditioning.
Advantages:
1. In our villa the internet speed was reasonably good.
2. Friendly staff.
3. They provide laundry service with a very reasonable price.
Overall, I would not recommend this place to others. But, this place has a huge potential if they improve the facilities and maintenance.

my wife and i stayed a week and were the victims of an attempted break in...WHILE WE WERE IN THE ROOM!!!!!!! my wife and i heard them pry the window open. they pried with such force that the frame was bent badly and the handle(which was inside the window) flew off and was on the ground outside the window. we saw the two young men run from the window. we notified the front desk and i went out into the hall where to my surprise were the two burglars. i detained them until the hotel personnel arrived. they admitted to the crime, my wife and i witnessed them running from the scene and the surveillance tape showed them doing it. BUT...nothing happened. we were constantly told that it was under investigation(for three days). the manger told us the two burglars were "with a church group" that was staying at the hotel. therefore they were not bad guys. later it was interpreted as an "alleged peeping incident". and the matter was closed. the two burglars were allowed to stay on the premises for the duration of their planned stay without any supervision at all. meanwhile, my wife was very nervous and scared for the remainder of our stay. not once did the staff check on her to see if she was ok. the manager seemed to view this whole thing as a laughable matter. even upper management showed no concern whatsoever. please be advised that this is NOT a safe place. please heed my advice and stay elsewhere....you will not be safe here and you will not get any help or support from the hotel.

Was booked to stay here for 8 days on business, but moved out after one night.
My booking was for a nonsmoking room with double bed. But I was told that all the rooms with double bed had been taken. Reception staff needs a few lessons on politeness.
The room was very dated and dark; the bathroom had hairs on the floor and in the shower.
Only local TV channels and poor reception.
Breakfast was poor and the area could do with a good clean
Checked out next day and moved to another hotel.

We stayed here to celebrate our sons' birthday. We took the 5 bedroom house in the centre of the golf resort. The place could sleep 12 persons and was well furnished. The only thing lacking was that there was no stove or microwave (as cooking was not allowed), but we were told later that we could have requested for a microwave at the front desk if we really needed one to heat up food and drinks. BBQ was allowed and we had one thrown in as part of the package. They even supply you the meats all marinated and all you have to do is bbq it.
The house was big, the rooms were big and the kitchen was huge. All the necessary facilities, cutleries were provided and you really didnt need to bring anything to use the kitchen. Quality of the building and furnitures within were good. You should bring your own DVD player and discs if you want to watch movies or you could rent a DVD player from them. There's a hall upstairs and downstairs. It was nice to have a lawn that was shared among the 3 houses around as there was no fence separating each house from the other. That gave the kids ample space to run around which they thoroughly enjoyed. There's a swing and see-saw in the middle of the lawn shared by the 4 houses. There do seems to be bugs around the outside of the house when it gets late into the day but I guess that's expected if you're living in a golf course.
The security when we were there was tight and we saw the security guards going from house to house to check on them at night. However, I did make sure I checked every single window and door to ensure it was well locked before going to bed. The house-keeping were efficient although when we asked for 2 extra beds we got 2 extra mattresses only that were left downstairs by the dining instead of being set up in the rooms.
Otherwise the facilities were good, they have proper lap pools, children pools and even ones that real small kids could get into. There's a playground, tennis court, bowling alley, cycling and a number of other activities which were quite fun for the whole family. The children's play room was quite sad though as there really wasnt much there to keep the kids occupied. If you're planning to go horse-riding, you are advised to make a booking a couple of days in advance otherwise the horses may not be available. There are small towns/kampungs nearby that have every possible provision or emergency item you may need. Food in these small towns are also good.
The kids had a lot of fun in this place and we would likely come back here for another get together in the future.

+1
i went to this resort last week, with family. the room at here always available maybe because of their room is quite much in number and addition it is Saturday . I checked in at the moment we are arrived at the resort and really happy because there is still a room to stay. Check in at 1am in the morning, Everything here are perfect, the room quite impressive with the huge square feet of the room with 3 beds, one queen size and another 2 are single size. The decoration are magnificent it seems like old british design. The temperature for whole room is perfect under comfort level and they also provided fans each of the room. The room smells enormously fragrant with all the place seems clean and nice. The internet connection also good which is can access it from the room and the most attractive here is their swimming pool is really big with track where we can race in the pool, other than that, not only the pool are there, many facilities you can have there and its worth it to pay. You can have a great view while having a breakfast it faced to the golf field. The lack is to reach to this resort is bit difficult. If you are driving, it won't have a problem, but you pick for buses or taxi, might be little problem. For overall i love this resort, if have a second chance to Pasir Gudang, i will choose this resort for second stay.
