Avoid if possible. Don't go just by the name. I have just checked in, didn't expect myself to write a review this early. But this definitely calls for one. Reached the hotel at 1.45. was told room wasn't ready. So had lunch at their restaurant. Came back by 3 to be told room is not yet ready. After an early morning flight from KL that's the last thing you want to hear. No explanation given for the delay. Said housekeeping hasn't cleaned yet. Gave me a pathetic room which is just shore facing rather than ocean facing which I had opted for with a balcony initially. Had 2 queen beds as part of my booking. Room 1237 which was given didn't have a balcony. Half of the stuff wasn't working there. Only 1 bed in the room and was told extra bed will be given separately. Changed room to 1227. This time got a balcony, but guess what, no center table to sip a drink. In room landline not working, so had to look out for someone in the foyer area to ask for anything. The biggest scare was no plug points for charging near the bed or tv. Plug points were near the wash basin, a first for me! The location is beautiful, no doubt. But the service, cleanliness, hygiene factor in the rooms is pathetic. There would be tons of smaller hotels around the island which would be much cheaper for sure. Do give them a try. Avoid this place for sure. …

THE AIR CON DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY AS IT IS A CENTRAL SYSTEM AND ALL ROOMS HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. They lied to me and I changed 4 dif rooms before finding out it is a CENTRAL AC SYSTEM from 35 years ago and it needs to be replace as it is too old to be fixed. They have left the place unrepaired after covid and the place is falling apart. There is a reason the rooms are so cheap. This is not a 4 star resort or resort company After 7 hours of blasting the AC my room was 85F 29c!!! I asked for my money back for the week as I did not even stay the 1st night. They refused!!! Agoda did nothing either to get my money credited back. This is theft and will be handled thru my credit card!!!! Do not book here. BEWARE!!

Well, Resorts World Langkawi in my opinion can be a Great hotel if it had been maintained much better. Check in was a breeze and the lady ( didnt get her name ) was very friendly and nice. We got 2 premier seaview room which was in block 5 which is actually far if you walk from the lobby but near if you have a car and park near block 5. I would say the rooms were in good condition, there were 2 super single beds, bathroom were rather small and the hot water was a bit hot and cold. The bad thing was the air con which took so long to cool down and i had set the temp at 17 degrees and we went out the temp was showing 28 degrees. When we came back at nite, it only reduced to 26 degrees.... It was very warm and not so comfortable at night... the balcony arrangement was also strange, one of our rooms had a nice big balcony and another didnt have at all. Honestly speaking, i think this place can become grand again and has so much potential if only it was upgraded properly....…

This place really should consider changing its name. Resorts World for me should be replaced with the name Peace Resort. Because my world this place is a peace lovers dream. I’m passed the partying stage in my life and love to make the most of my days, then come back to a room with a peaceful view to enjoy with a bottle of wine - Bliss! Resorts World offers just that! Surprisingly so considering it’s less than 10 minutes from the main strip of Cenang Beach. However the hotel is situated on the other side of a small hill from the rest of Cenang and once over the hill you enter into a world of peace, tranquility and views over the bay. Staff here, I’ve barely seen anyone if I’m honest, but Diana on reception is everything a hotel needs. Fabulously friendly and welcoming. The rooms are great. They are clean and modern. What more do you need? The view, well here’s a super tip! Choose a sea view room. It’s DEFINITELY worth it! Honestly! I’ve come back to my room whilst parking up and thought. This would be nowhere near as nice if I had a room facing out over the car park! All in all a fabulous, peaceful and enjoyable stay! Thank you Resorts World!…

This resort locates near the port. It is very suitable for those who arw looking for a safe and quite area with a stunning view on the sea. The staff are very friendly and helful, they are smiling the whole time. The rooms are clean. However, the pool inside the resort is closed. There are different facilities inside the hotel, playing area, infinity pool, paid breakfast, pier, and a drinking area.

Let me start with the staff as this is what I found great about my stay here. The staff are professional, kind and friendly. It ends here unfortunately. My room was a premiere room. Sound proofing is not a thing in this hotel, thankfully I brought earplugs. The restaurant for lunch and dinner are very very disorganized and slow. Food options are limited and they actually ran out of some foods. It was a busy weekend due to 9 Dragons event. In my opinion they should have planned for this. Waited over 1 hour for dinner on one of my nights here. Breakfast was buffet and was good but as days went on selection decreased. Ants and house lizards in room also. Food soiled. I love the location and the views from the hotel but due to above reasons I definitely won’t stay here again.

Stayed in Premier room but the room still a bit old. Purposely booked the room for their infinity pool and selected a date after their maintenance but the maintenance delayed. Big disappointment. Room is spacious but may not come back again

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING THIS PLACE. we had booked this place for 2 nights and we were shocked seeing the place. First of all, the resort is at one end of Langkawi which is a port. The nearest beach is 1.5kms away. The resort looked dead but the horror had just began. The room was horrible. We had paid extra and taken sea view room. The room had webs all over the room. It did not look like a 4 star hotel room. The washroom and bathroom was different and so tiny that someone who is claustrophobic will die. And the worst thing was they did not have AC. they had ducts and it would take ages for the room to cool. The balcony was facing the port and it would stink cuz of the stale water. Our overall experience was horrible. We had booked it for 2 days but checked out in less than 24 hours. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Pls refrain from booking this resort …

We wanted a quiet place, away from Chenang and this was the perfect choice. We were greeted by 2 friendly staff and registration was completed in a jiffy. The corridor was a bit shabby, but was informed it would be replaced soon. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good, but the on-going renovation works on the jetty was a spoiler as it blocks away the beautiful Langkawi scenery.
