I checked in at this hotel on 26th september 2018. Checked in at this hotel because of the strategic location. I regretted my choice of paying rm100 for a room that a monkey wouldnt live in. Wifi is not working, tv got no channel, my bedsheet and pillow is wet for whatever reason and the worst thing is the hot shower is not working. Please for the love of god avoid this hotel, i rather sleep in my car than this hell.
Room was reasonable for the price.Restaurants and shops around.I took the taxi from Tanah Rata what cost me 10MYR but there is also a bus driving.Wifi is not working ...if you log in it shows up that the bilI is not paid and they told me it’s because the worse internet connection. Also the staff gave me just poor information about the area ...hiking tracks ...
This hotel was booked by our travel agency for a group of 42 people, in view of it was a 2D1N trip, we did not really survey much, just follow the arrangement by the agency. But this hotel is the worst one we ever had, toilets- it is not only bad, but worst condition ever! broken beds, old-fashion TV, extreme poor room condition!
Check in on 24/02/18. Get a 2 bedrooms, No hot water, make call to reception, one guy came over try to fix it. Manage to get some hot water but very low water pressure. In the morning completely no water, call reception, she told us manager coming in the afternoon. Ask for vacant room for a shower, she told us , non of the hotel with water, have to wait for 2 hours if want to shower. No contingency plan, badly run hotel. Try to call the manager Ms. Tan, no one pick up or at least have a courtesy to return my call. Never again. Surely one time business from me.
Stayed for two sleepless nights here. The location is fine, pretty сentral. The staff were as cold as the rooms. Should you ask for a room to be cleaned or even an extra blanket, they looked at you as if you had asked them to donate a kidney. The nights were quite cold and the bed spread was very thin that made for plenty of tossing and turning. The balconies were the highlight. Beautiful views onto the jungle hills around town. Amenities were close by, as were a few good restaurants. Bar the points mentioned I couldn't grumble about the rest. Then again if you didn't get to stay at Hotel Chua Gin during your time in the Highlands you wouldn't exactly be missing out.
