The person pick up call is very rude name Aisyah. Just to ask the room type and the location to certain area. She don’t even listen to customer question and keep rejecting people. Please! Send this staff back to training again Customer service is very important base to basic- polite and be professional Don’t argue with client Because we are not local ipoh-rean We know nothing Please be patient If you are not patient and reluctant to answer customer enquirer please work at backroom or position which don’t need to meet or serve customer You are represent French Hotel Don’t because if your bad service spoil the brand name of French hotel
My first stay at the French Hotel back in 2013 was an exceptionally positive experience, and as a returning guest, I must say that I am impressed by how well they have maintained their good standards. Even after 7 years, the hotel looks just as good and the room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Not to mention their high quality of service and also good COVID-19 preventive measures. There was one slight downside though - noise from outside the room was quite loud this time round. I don't remember noise and voices being so audible in my last trip. But all in all, I had no regrets choosing them again for my family getaway and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Checked in and was greeted by a friendly chap allowing us to park our car at the entrance while we unload our luggage. From the outside the hotel did not seem much but once you are in, you will see that its well thought of and the rooms well appointed. Comfy beds and excellent shower. Perfect location if you are a food explorer.
I had to go to Ipoh during CMO as there was a family emergency. We booked into French and was pleasantly pleased with the service offered. The front desk staff, Encik Amirul displayed excellent responsibility in going through the SOP for COVID-19 prevention. The room was very very clean and quiet. I needed some items and Encik Amirul arranged to send it to our room immediately. The other staffs were also very vigilant in carrying out the SOP to safe guard all guests in this hotel.
I booked two rooms, one for hubby and I and the other were for our American friends as we wanted them to enjoy Ipoh's famous foods. We were assigned NON-SMOKING ROOMS and the Management sure knew how to maintain this place. The rooms were spacious,clean, comfortable and have adequate amenities like shampoo, soaps, shower gel and good towels. Our cleaner Seba did her job well and I could not find anything wrong in our room. It was literally spotless! The only niggling little unpleasantry was the use of wifi on two devices only... I was not able to use my laptop until I log out from one and this was cumbersome!
