Stayed here for one night in February 2023. Travelling with family (one child 8 years old). Checking in was a breeze. Front staff called Wei Xuan was very helpful and patient. Room was huge and enough for the three of us. They gave us extra pillows and towels at no extra charge and delivered fast. Wifi was easily connected and steady. Arrived late and showered - water pressure was great. Aircond worked perfectly and easy to control. Bed is very comfortable and all of us slept comfortably. Location is good in the middle of town. Parking was free (great!) as I got my ticket validated and checking out was also very easy. Recommended (stayed in a double queen room) for short stays in Ipoh.

I stay here for 1 night. The room is clean, staff are friendly, amenities inside room good. The swimming pool is outdoor. Kid play area, restaurant and gym room was located at level 2. Breakfast is normal. Overall good. I enjoy the stay.

Pros: 1. It is newly renovated and spacious room. 2. Check in was smooth and no deposit. 3. So many lift and easy access 4. Free parking Cons: 1. Small swimming pool in open area. No towel provided 2. The pool was nit well maintained 3. Breakfast buffet is ok with limited menu 4. No coffee machine

Travelodge Hotel is located near to a private hospital and a condominium. Despite of that, I had quiet nights during my stay. It is not in the walking distance to the tourist spots and restaurants. It may take about 10 minutes’ drive to the train station (Taxi fare is RM20 without meter-on, cheaper fare with e-hailing). I like the spacious room. Room amenities include bedside lamps, flat-screen TV, coffee/tea making facilities, minibar, area for storing luggage and clothes, room safe, iron and ironing board, reading sofa (may be used as bed for kid), and coffee table. Water dispenser (cold, warm, hot) is located on each floor of the building. There is a washing basin, a hot/cold standing shower, toilet, half-body length mirror, body towel and floor mat in the ensuite bathroom. Toiletries such as shampoo and body gel, toilet paper, handwash, cotton bud, shower cap and sanitary bag are provided. The food option was limited but tasted good. I stayed for three nights (ate breakfast, lunch and dinner). Hotel gym, children play area and function rooms are located on level 2, and Ballroom on level 1. Basement parking is available. Swimming pool is located on ground floor (if not mistaken). A more well-equipped gym and bakery shop are (not under hotel management) located on the same floor as the reception counter. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay in this hotel though I only used the meeting room for my company event. It is recommended to have own transport to move around, or simply get an e-hailing service.…

This is the 3rd time I am staying in this hotel. Big and Cosy hotel friendly receptionist and now add in a lot of new amenities. Breakfast was good. Normally in ipoh I will eat outside but this time because we need to depart early so I had breakfast in the hotel. it was delicious.

After a brief gathering with a few of my friends, we swiped this hotel after a few searches and after reading the past comments, we decided to give it a try! Booked 2 Deluxe Queen rooms and upon check-in were offered rooms on the same floor the lady who checked us in were apologizing due to not being able to assign rooms side by side which is not a problem for us...extra points earn for the gesture. The rooms were spacious and clean and other points that capture our heart are where there is room service which settle our headaches about where and what to eat. We definitely will revisit this in the future..Kudos!

Having few days off break and having friends at Ipoh who recommended me this hotel which there is no regret. Great customer service upon check in whit all question handled promptly and in well manner. Room were spacious and clean which am not surprise after reading lots off comments. Overall am happy and will return due to the location were strategic as well.

Understand that the hotel is busy, first front desk (male) messed up the booking of 3 rooms became 2. After reconfirming then another lady front desk took over and realized the mistake. No apology given after wasting 30 mins of check in time instead showing her ignorance attitude. Please do remember that you are in a service line and be apologetic when you or your team make mistakes.
