During our Malaysian vacation/ we had an unexpected change of plans and ended up in Ipoh, we needed accommodations ASAP. We decided to try the Travelodge. The experience was wonderful. The front staff were professional and knowledgeable and were able to give us a great deal on the room. The room was clean and the pillows ohh so soft and fluffy. Our kids immediately fell asleep. The breakfast was delicious, prepared by an onsite chef. Our kids are used to western food and had been having trouble finding food they liked, at the Travel lodge, you should see the pictures of them stuffing their mouths with fresh food/eggs/omelets and other treats. When we return to Malaysia on holiday, we will definitely stay at the Travel lodge , this time for more than 1 night. This place truly provided a home away from home. They also offer late check out, for us it was 2pm (sweet!) This place is truly a great value for your money.

The room had a great view and breakfast, while not a buffet, was delivered to our room and was adequate, considering that we paid only RM135 per night. Parking was ample but again, the swimming pool could not be used - just like during my previous visit. However, it was situated just a short distance from Palm Tree Atrium Villa, my favourite pasta restaurant, so that took care of dinner.

We ordered 2 sets of chicken rendang and 1 set of fish and chip @ The Lodge. Amazing and flavorful rendang sauce. Fish n chip also truly fresh and delicious. Worthy and entitled to 20% discount + complementary drink. Chef and staff are also very friendly. Myself may come again to taste other favour this coming shopee day 11:11 @ RM11.11 only per set lunch with 1 free complementary drink too.

The room was last sanitise on Sep but currently it’s end of December. I feel that during this situation it’s good to sanitise more often for the safety of your guest. Moreover, the water flow in the shower area was extremely slow. It’s like flooding and the water overflow to the toilet whenever we are bathing. Please have a look at your water flow system in the bath room.

The room is lovely and clean. You need to walk out near the lift landing to grab your hot or cool water from the water filter dispenser.
The reception team is friendly and check-in process is really smooth.
I come again and recommend friend to stay here also.

It was an unplanned trip over weekend, needed a hotel room for working as wife had gathering with friends. Picked this hotel based on few recent and decent comments, and saw an award about 'best hotel 2021'.
About room. I took a Deluxe Queen Room. The room is spacious, good working desk with good lighting. A large window with good view facing out, that's important as I was going to spend quite some time in room. Plenty of switch sockets in the room; both sides of bed, working desk and lounge.
About amenities. All complete with hair dryer, jug kettle, water tumbler and many more. There is water dispenser near the lift, saw a note that this hotel uses 3M water filtration system.
About breakfast. Nice local breakfast provided. Nasi lemak, curry chicken, sausages, fried noodles, fried rice, porridge, bread toast, fruit, vege salad, juices, coffee etc. They have egg stations where you can get sunny side, omelets etc.
About car park. One level of B1 basement parking. Although I didn't notice super crowd during breakfast, the parking was full.
Overall, i was happy with the stay. Saw quite a few families that stayed over that weekend.

They are having Penang Food for their lunch set; it's only MYR15 per set for four choices(include a glass of drink). Not much choice but I have to say the taste it's great and the price is fair too. Can't deny after renovation, the place look great! Kind of mixing of moderen and old school. The lift remind me when I was small.. Rush to the glass and look down...

we spend two night here for family staycation. The room was so clean and surprisingly comfortable. Staff was friendly and cheerful. They sent our breakfast to our room, food was delicious like mee goreng mamak, american breakfast and nasi lemak superb!! we love Travelodge Ipoh so much!!!

The room was clean, the bed was nice to sleep. I like the lazy sofa and good to lay down reading and watching TV. The bathroom water was strong enough, good to shower. The bathroom serve with shampoo, body wash and hand wash gel in big bottle.
