Lovely small hotel with eclectic heritage vibe to it.
I wish to see some of the level 2 rooms be converted to "Reunion Suites" with 1 bed and separate living area instead of 2 beds. It will appeal more to the couples and solo travellers wishing for more privacy and luxury.
Pros: Cheap, strategically located, nice touch on the fittings etc
Cons: Bedframe too low to my liking
Room tips: Upgrade to the better rooms on level 2, if you don't mind climbing the flight of stairs as there's no lift.

Appeals to those who wish nostalgia. It was a vintage building with modern interior, comfortable to most. Budget friendly and give anyone who can accept the trade-off. Not located on a busy street although there were 2 cafe below. Easily accessible to busier part of city by foot. Parking was severely limited and travel light. On-street parking mainly.

Location was good near the jetty and walking distance to all sights but hotel is not ideal if you have mobility issues as there are 30 steps to climb to the first floor and double that for second floor. Check in is actually the shop cashier.. it took me a while to figure it out. You will be carryong all your stuff to your room as there is nobody available to help, so pack light.
The room was of a good size but nothing like the picture of the Deluxe room I had booked. Room is ok need a repair here and there but well equipped including kettle and iron. Bathroom is strange... if you take a shower you flood the whole bathroom as there is no shower curtain or cubicle. Make sure you make nbr 1 , nbr 2 or combo before taking your shower. Overall is fair balance of a budget hotel vs cost, nothing more nothing less.

Nice hotel and suitable for family because of the spacious rooms and walking distance to Amernian Street. However, the hotel not suitable for elderly because of the staircase and 10minutes walk is considered far for them. This hotel has drainage problem where the shower water will make toilet area flood. The shower and toilet has wooden floor. This makes the toilet and shower room very smelly.

- Booked 2 triple sharing rooms in June 2019 as there were 4 adults and 2 kids.
- Rooms were cleaned and bed was comfortable.
- Basic amenities and safe as the lobby which is the shop front is locked from 10.30pm onwards.
- Within walking distances to all the jetties...each with its own unique eateries.
- had breakfast daily at a coffee shop near the hotel, which serves toast and omelettes n sausages for RM4.20 each set / Hokkein prawn mee @RM4 a bowl
- Was very convenient as its located near the street arts and heritage area.
- Wld def recommend to stay here!!!

Booked a deluxe double queen room and stayed for 2 nights. This is like the sister of the Reunion Heritage House which is just nearby. Check-in was fast. Our room was at the first floor, luckily, as there're no elevators here.
Room was spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. Wifi signal is strong too. Toiletries like toothbrush, tooth paste, shampoo and body wash are provided. The flooring of the bathroom is a bit odd as they use wooden planks instead of tiles. Plus, there are water stains on the walls.
The location of this hotel is the highlight. It's a walking distance to everywhere e.g. the jetty, cafes, restaurants etc.
Eventhough the condition of the bathroom wasn't great but the service from the staff was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel to those travelling with families.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Reunion. Everything about it was perfect, from the location to the thoughtful decor in the rooms. The mini mart downstairs was a great added bonus. The room had some lovely modern touches which surprised us. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and there’s no doubt we will be back again at Reunion sometime in the future. Highly highly recommended!
