Arrived at 8pm on the Evening and was greeted by a really friendly member of staff at reception who gave us all the details we needed and explained what type of room we were getting. We were given rooms on the 17th floor 1701 & 1706 which both had views overlooking the bay which were great. Reception is on the 19th floor i think just for your info . The room was large and the bed was really comfy we had a small fridge with free water everyday along with tea making facilities, iron, hairdrier, tv , and free wifi which was really good most of the time but did on occasion drop out especially late evening. The room was cleaned very day except for Sunday and the wardrobe and storage was built in but in the bathroom but there was small draws at each side of bed. There was a pool and gym which was located on the roof of the hotel with great views of Georgtown and had plenty of shade from the sun. Breakfast was very good with a good choice and again staff really nice and helpful and you also had a great view of the city. The hotel is located right in the city centre close to many shops bars etc but it is located on a quiet street which we really enjoyed as you could escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel really has a nice chilled out feel and you are made to feel really welcome and at home. All the staff are super friendly and the best compliment i can pay them is we did not want to leave at the end of our stay. Forgot to mention the hotel is spotless and is clean in all locations. I would most certainly recommend this hotel and if i am around these parts again i will stay here again.

A modern centralised hotel. Easy to spot from far. The reception is on the 20th floor. It had a good view to look at. Friendly staff who can answer most questions. The room is clean. However there are stains outside the window and can't open the window. There isn't toothpaste nor tooth brush so bring your own. The wardrobe is found in the toilet. I find that the water for the drainage is not going down fast so put a cloth on the floor. Might split out. The swimming pool is tiny and can't really swim but is good enough to soak in the water and enjoy the view. There are sun chairs too, in the shaded area. I've not been inside the gym so can't say much. The lift is operated when you tape the room card. The staff failed to inform this. So me and my friend got panicky in the lift when it's not moving at all.
Because of the location of the hotel, you will find it's really easy to walk to heritage sites. Only Penang hill , bird park and some others are very far. You can take the bus.

For the price I paid, I don't mind the minor details they missed. What I loved most was the bed and pillow—they were incredibly comfortable. The room's design and layout were impressive, giving the feel of a 4-star hotel (I stayed in a king-size bed room facing the sea). However, the only downside was the shower head.
The hotel staff were friendly overall, but the housekeeping team could use some additional training. While they did a great job tidying the room and even changing the bedsheets, they left the floor unclean.
As for the location, it was convenient for me, with many of the restaurants I wanted to visit within walking distance.

The hotel is new and it was build in 2020 as I read. Very nice modern deco with very comfortable bedding. The furnishings were as if it was 3 years ago, no musky carpet and the wardrobe smells of fresh carpentry.
Great location to most eateries in Georgetown otherwise it's always a convenient ride by Grab ride hailing.
Across the road is a convenient store and to it's far left is a coffeeshop that serves breakfast.

This is a well located hotel near to the main tourist area of Penang, on a quiet side street with public transport connections at 200mtr and 500mtr. Arrival and check-in on floor 20 was efficient and welcoming, nearly everything explained, we took 24 hours to get to grips with the air con, but explained by staff when we queried it. No other issues. Breakfast was very good and varied for a very mixed client base. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, showing concern and consideration for their customers' expectations and needs. The hotel was spotless and well presented in all areas. Good sized swim pool and relax area on roof, floor 22. There is no evening meal available but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We had a very comfortable 8 night stay and would use the hotel again if in George Town.

This is my first time staying at ozo penang hotel. The room is great for family of 4 adults and the place of the hotel is very near to every place in city centre. The car parking is quite modern where u can park ur car only inside the building without having u need to look around the empty slot. But still its first come first serve. My concern is that the cleanliness of the hotel room was far away from 4 or 5 star hotel. It rather require a lot improvement. The maintenance of the equipment of the room especially the bathroom need to have attention. The bed in quite comfy and the bathroom for suite room is spacious and i think can put one more single bed. My room got the living room which quite spacious and feels like home.

Is a amzaing stay with this hotel. My mom like the room and the view very much. The hotel staff was very friendly expecially the staff check me in and out. And the luggague been delivered to my room took less then 10 min after i check in to my room which is very awesome! Another side to be compliment will be the shower water pressure is super strong!! Me and my mom love it!! Furthermore, hotel location very convenient, not need worry about food, just need to step out the hotel, all is walking distance. Exemple for the most famous toasted bread- Toh Soon Cafe( within 10 min walking). We hope next time can stay longer with OZO and get a chance to experience your facilities. Thanks OZO teams, you all did a great job!!

I booked at the OZO George Town Penang with my niece and her family because of its good rating, newness and central location. It turned out to be an excellent choice.
The staff at the reception desk were friendly, efficient and spoke fluent English. There was a beautiful infinity pool on the top floor that I didn’t use but looked inviting. The free tourist bus as well as the Komtar and Prangin malls were a short walk away.
My room was on the 10th floor and had a partial view of the water. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, had a comfortable bed, wide screen TV, fridge and good A/C. A breakfast buffet with a selection of tasty Asian and Western food and the option to order freshly cooked eggs was included. Zul, who worked at the buffet, greeted us with a smile every morning and made sure we had everything we needed to make our breakfast enjoyable.
If you’re looking for modern, comfortable and clean accommodations in a central location the OZO George Town Penang is the perfect option. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in Penang.

The OZO hotel is a newer hotel located a short walk to the old areas of Georgetown.
Upon entering the hotel you take a lift up to checkin on the 20th floor.
The room I stayed in was a superior king room.
The room allocated on the 10th floor had a partial view out to the ocean The facilities in the room included a day bed with small coffee table writing desk and chair, king bed with small ottoman, television , mini fridge , electronic safe , tea coffee making facilities , complimentary bottled water daily, large wardrobe , ensuite with large walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin with complimentary toiletries and plenty of space. Iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. Breakfast is available and has a choice of local and western food including cereals , pastries yogurts juices tea and coffee and water. There is a small gym and wet edge swimming pool also. The pool had a small area to lounge around the pool after a swim. The hotel is located within walking distance of the old areas of Georgetown and the central bus station for those without a car wanting to explore outer beach areas or Penang Hill. 1. Room toilet hose gun was broken/leaking and no spare part replacement. water drop on the floor. The first maintenance guy did not fix the hose. It was leaking and he said it was fixed !. After he left the leaking is everywhere on the floor. I have to call again maintenance team to come for 2nd time. However, the 2nd maintenance guy did a good job with an alternative solution however the hose still has minor leaking. There is no spare part available during that time. 2. Housekeeping lady response very late and was a bit rude. Took me more than 1.5hrs to request water and force me to call the operator 2nd time to contact the cleaning manager as I really need the water. The housekeeping Malay short lady with glasses came to my room and sent the item without apologizing and pass the item and say "Nahhhhhhhh" 🙄🙄🙄 with an unsatisfied face (emotional face). Attitude needs to improve. It is not hard to say "sorry" when I can say "Thank you" to her for sending the item even though she was very very late. 3. Breakfast needs to add more Penang signature food variety 4. Lvl 1 Entrance Lobby can smell musty and sweat
