Sorry but it really is possible to find more modern and better value accommodation in Penang. Many reviewers comment on the need to upgrade/refurbish......but all that seems to have happened, at least since I first stayed many years ago, is that an oversized flatscreen tv has been put in the room. The room is dated but with quality furniture so... More

Very professional but extremely friendly and helpful staff - at all levels from room cleaners, doormen, restaurant staff and receptionists - couldn't do enough to help us. Located on edge of UNESCO area. Close to Komtar Tower so easy to find... More

I was booked into the hotel for a workshop. The hotel is located in the middle of Georgetown, smack in the middle of shopping and transporting hub. Really great to pass the free time and commute. The staff are mostly local, wear casually and always ready to smile. I really enjoy seeing them around me. The room itself is very... More
