The hotel is lovely and I would definatly stay here again. The rooms disappointed me though. Don't get me wrong it was clean and comfortable but it needed alot of work done to it. There was scratches on the floors from the furniture being moved around and the walls were falling apart! They were just crumbling and when it was...

Oh very nice, helpful and friendly staff specially the reception. Unique place, spacious, clean (which not easy to find), we searched everywhere from over the top prices to the cheapest (which is still not cheap for the quality) and this was the best of all specially if you like quaint place. Very very good price for our room with extra...

We chose this hotel as we wanted the experience of staying in a traditional local property. The wooden floors and interior courtyards are certainly charming but when staying here you need to be aware that the rooms at the front only have wooden shutters and no soundproofing on the windows. As the hotel is close to the corner of Cintra...

We found CHH on the internet a few months ago, post a lot of research for a quiet, comfortable, clean, well located place to book for our five nights in Penang. It has surpassed our expectations! A colonial building refurbished and made into a boutique hotel, it is run by a team of efficient, friendly and active people, headed by...

This really is an absolute bargin. You get to stay in a quirky colonial house for a really fantastic price. It is so very beautiful inside. The staff are absolutely 5 star. In particular the evening receptionist. He is worth his weight in gold. So friendly, helpful and lovely. I had a Thai phone charger and couldn't charge my phone....

Stayed 4 nights in december.start with the good points: +fair price since many other hotels were full and it has a nice central location +staff (the guys that is), were very helpful and very polite. they compensate for the leave-me-alone-attitude of "The" lady: a heavily made-up smartphone addict that acted rude in a haughty way, like a drunk diva. you...

My family of 4 were there last week for 2 nights and we had such a memorable stay. The place was clean, we loved the stairs, the wooden plank boards, the windows and courtyard especially. My two kids loved spending time at the quaint courtyard and we played card games there since there was no tv in the room. We...

Perfect start to our Georgetown trip. We loved the hotel the minute we stepped in & our room was awesome (all rooms are I guess) it has the charm that you'd want in a location like Georgetown. The location is quite good, especially if you don't mind a little walk. The area is safe & clean, free wifi & friendly...
