Very friendly and helpful reception. Great staff at the bar - I wasn't even thinking about ice cold coffee until she suggested this while I was on my way out. The decor follows the heritage theme, but has presented an updated, clean version of this. The courtyard is quiet, shaded and gives it a nice little outdoor space. Likewise, the...

Old refurbished trio of colonial shop houses, superbly located just a stroll away from the heart of Georgetown's own World Heritage sites and some modern shopping if you need it. A little rustic, with it's old furnishing but spacious, airy and quiet most of the day. If you want to avoid a troop of uniforms with plastic smiles, this is...

For the price, you can't get a better deal. Good location with cafes, local food, bicycle rentals and antique/craft shops/ Very friendly and helpful staff. Polite. The rooms facing the road ARE noisy. Due to conservation ruling, they can't sound proof.. accordingly to their management. But hey, the rooms next door is double the price. No issues with aircon or...

For a family of 3 Adults we booked a family room with a queen bed and a single bed. Our room on the second floor faced the main road, just above the lobby. Entering into the room seemed decent, opened the shutters and had a good view to the road and other shophouses. Room turned out to be a disaster!...

This mid-range is centrally located in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance to most of the Street Art and Wall Paintings. Two blocks from Komtar. It is a charming little hotel with tasteful decoration, do bear in mind that it is strictly barefoot for upstairs to protect the floorboard. Shoes are to be left at the bottom of the...

If you are looking for a fancy hotel with a flat screen tv and rooftop swimming pool, this isn't the place for you. Staff was friendly, even letting me go into the kitchen to get buckets of ice at all hours. Location was great for everything i needed. No tv but the wifi and aircon were strong. I slept better...

I must say this is the worst budget inn I have stayed in my entire life. Firstly, there is no proper noise insulation, so street facing rooms will here the brooming of motorbike throughout the night. Secondly, which is the thing that left me a very bad impression, is the staff. The manager apparantly has a rather temperental sister who...

We stayed a wonderful week here in the heritage zone. It is within walking distance to Armenian St. The room we stayed in was huge, clean and beds comfortable. Wifi is included. The staff, esp Peter, Mas and Effy treated us so well. Breakfast was included and Mas makes the best Nasi Lemak and served the best local fruits!

My boyfriend and I stayed in Cintra Heritage House for 3 weeks in July, and it was an exceptional experience. They've done a wonderful job restoring the old Peranakan shophouses, and converting them into a heritage hotel. It was clean, tidy, with attention given to ambience and atmosphere. The daily included breakfast was a great way to start the day,...

I really liked the style of Cintra. An old house with interior gardens and open areas. Very beautiful house. Rooms are ok and breakfast was good enough. The location is good. Very close to the old city and to the shopping area as well.
