Had a fantastic time during my 3D2N stay at the Hilton Hotel! The lobby decorations were on point, and the staff, especially Farrah and Jaycee, were incredibly friendly and approachable. They really made me feel welcome! The evening canapés at the lounge were a delicious treat, and the breakfast buffet in the main breakfast room had such a great variety of options. I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit, and I'm gonna try our their suite next!

Club lounge was impressive with a variety of cuisines at happy hour and breakfast. Hilton diamond members can choose breakfast buffet in restaurant or in club lounge. Rooftop pool was fantastic. The famous restaurant "Welcome Seafood Restaurant" was just right behind of this hotel. Taxi to airport cost me around 13 malaysia currency.

Hilton standard well maintained in KK. Rooms are fresh and well appointed. Beds comfortable, good toilet facilities. Good pool. Exec Lounge is large with good staff - excellent breakfast and a happy hour with snacks. Very central - 5 mins walk to water front

We stayed for 4 nights from 10 January. I am writing this review to caution other guests to be careful about: 1. Cleanliness 2. Double check your itemized bill Let’s start with the positives - the top experienced customers facing team are great. They are helpful and friendly and tried their best to make things right. They can definitely improve by ensuring that the junior levels have sufficient training to be more careful and dedicated in their work. This is a summary of the major issues we experienced in our stay: 1. A major no-no. The cleaning team of our upgraded room DID NOT clean the bathroom. There were stains below the toilet lid (refer photo) and some strands of hair on the floor. They just touch up the room to make it look superficially tidy. However, after I complained to the manager, they took action, sent the best cleaning team to really clean up, housekeeping manager came to apologize and even sent us a fruit basket. Kudos for rectification actions. 2. In the airport, we checked our long itemized bill. We found 2 double charge of rm100+ . We informed the hotel about it and within a short while, they checked and came back to us that they have refunded the amount into our credit card. 3. The inside of the milk jug in the rooftop restaurant was stained brown like it hasn’t been washed for a long time. We highlighted to the waitress who wanted to make us a fresh cup of coffee but we said it’s not necessary. And they insist to take it off the bill.

One of the larger hotels we stayed in, on our recent trip. This one caters for everyone - business, singles, couples and large groups. Therefore, it has something for everyone, at a very good price point. Huge room for us, with welcome gift of local dried fruit (Hilton Honours gold level). Comprehensive range of Crabtree & Evelyn bathroom amenities. The breakfast buffet is a must for any guest. Selection changes every day, meaning you always look forward to the first meal. Waiter will aerate your tea as you watch. Nasi lemak has a different protein every day. Try it with the crab legs! Amazing bakery section will satisfy anyone. Fresh noodle soup made-to-order; along with roti canai being made continuously. Rooftop has large swimming pool alongside the "Bar & Grill" restaurant. Nice to cook off with views over KK. Large fitness facility with multiple cardio machines and decent range of strength machines. (use the dumbells for arms day) Finally, spent an evening in "The Club", sharing drinks and listening to music - live performance on weekends. Can't fault this hotel - strong recommendation.

I have good and bad to say. As a diamond Hilton member I was upgraded to a very nice suite which I appreciated. But to me Kota Kinabalu is a vacation destination and this hotel felt very corporate and it didn’t feel like I was on holiday. I had breakfast in the completely empty executive lounge on my second morning and was told there was a dress code and shorts were not allowed so I was sent back to my room 5 floors below to change into more appropriate clothing while the staff put a reserved sign on my table in the empty lounge, I would have thought a polite reminder to wear trousers next time would have been more appropriate since there was nobody else there but I took their advice none the less. What was irritating to me was that when I went to the lounge that evening for the happy hour drinks I was about the only person in there who wasn’t wearing shorts and nobody else was being sent back to their room to change so I’m not sure about this dress code. Again about the lounge, I commented to the staff that the soap dispenser in the executive lounge toilet was actually a bottle of hair conditioner (in fairness the Crabtree and Evelyn bottles look almost identical), to which the staff apologised and said they would have this corrected, to my surprise 2 nights later the bottle of hair conditioner was still there as a soap dispenser which was amusing at first but not two days later. Of course I need to give some positives too. The staff were professional as you would expect of a Hilton, the room was spotlessly clean, the executive lounge staff in the evening were friendly and attentive during the happy hour and my favourite thing about this hotel was the club bar which was a lot of fun and the manager and staff there were great!

Congrats to the new GM and her team; FOM Farrah, Exec Chef Qayumm, F&B Ihsan, F&B Alex, FO team/Exec Lounge Team (Miswan, Welter, Nigel, Thong, Sarah, Shahrizal, Daniel), F&B Jordan. The Exec Lounge now showcases a heavy pre-dinner option unlike before. Daily rotating menu will feature 3 heavy dishes, canapé, dessert, fruits, and happy hour drinks. During my stay managed to try their eve cocktail; nasi lemak, mee goreng, laksa Penang, tomyam, mee curry, nasi pulut kuning, salted egg chicken, and curry ayam. The lounge opens daily from 6.30AM to 10PM; nice layout and cozy for relaxing away from crowd. It also has a meeting room and small breakout discussion room. The lounge serves daily breakfast and eve cocktail and snacks and drinks throughout the day. The main coffee house also has a newly improved breakfast spread. The food tasted good. Good ambiance and friendly team of staffs. Guess what! Their Drip also features some local delicacies (nasi lemak and bihun). Nicely price and good combo option I may add. My room on level 9 was in great shape. Nicely layout suite: separate living (sofa, dining, office table), guest bath, bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bath (separate tub). Everything works well. Overall, I had a good stay throughout the week. Again, congrats to the team; they were super friendly, attentive and have good attention to detail. Kudos!
