We booked the hotel due to the proximity to the airport, which is about a 15 min drive. We arrived at 11:30PM to a dark building. Everything around the hotel was light up, but the hotel was dark. Turns out the power was out. The girl behind the counter was brief, rude, and did nothing to reassure that the issue...

Hello everybody! My wife and I stayed her during a transit visit, the staff were efficient and at times friendly, the hotel ran a shuttle service to and from the airport at no extra cost which was good too. We didn't eat at the hotel. The room was very small and the noise form passing planes was quite bad! They...

Near to Kota Kinabalu International Airport, 15 minutes to city center by car. Comfy bed but small room. Since it is near to airport, planes' sound will come and go every 10-15 minutes, which is not good if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, good service, friendly and helpful staffs. A lot of eating places nearby, from local to seafood...

We stay at level 3 and there is no lift (elevator), quite a hassle to bring our luggage and walk up the stairs. No water kettle provided in the room, if you need hot water you need to get it at the lobby. Hairdryer is not provided in the room, if you need it, you need to pay RM50 deposit...

Crown Borneo was my first hotel ever in Kota Kinabalu. The staff were cordial and helpful. The room and breakdast were average, but for a reasonable price. Downside, wifi doesn't reach 3F where my room was. Had to do my data communication at the lobby.

Went to KK for a seminar in Oct 2015. Stayed 2 nights at the Crown Borneo Hotel. The room and facilities had nothing to shout out about, but it did suffice. Generally clean and comfortable. Have to applaud the operator and the staff for pleasant service. Can be considered for travelers on a small budget. A lot of local eateries...

Booked standard room from hoteltravel website rm73 exc taxes. Check in was easy and fast. Everything was ok except for the noisy aeroplanes ( as expected this hotel near to airport)~ This hotel is suitable for anyone who got own car or else you can hop in their tourist van :)

It is a very convenient place to stay for a short trip that need you to spend a night just to wait for the next flight in the morning. Not to mention the transportation to and from the airport is FREE! If you have 4-5 person and don't mind sharing.. just book the family suites room. It can fit all...

I stayed here 1 night and for the price it was a good experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the location is super convenient for the airport and they also have hotel cars to take you anywhere around town for a small fee. The room was basic but clean. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms very well but...
