The breakfast was nice but they cater towards Chinese and Japanese tourist so the taste-bud not to my liking but its not bad. The only complain is during breakfast especially around 6:30 to 7:00 am, there is no waiter to clean up....

I feel this hotel is catered for tour group and airline crew members. Basic room with only simple toiletries (no bath towel, no hand towel, no floor mat etc) unless you call in to request and they still have stock available. Breakfast is okay. Hotel is located a fair distance from city and across Imago shopping centre. But I feel...

With the above said, be careful when you walk across to Imago shopping mall from this hotel. There are reported criminal cases in that area. On coming traffic makes it difficult to cross the road. There isn't a pedestrian crossing within a hundred meters. Very old hotel. Doesn't look like they have done any maintenance to it. My room had...

The Ming Garden hotel was our base for the first few days in Kota Kinabalu. Whilst we spent little time there, they were nothing but hospitable. We were climbing Mount Kinabalu and doing a few day trips, so location wise, it was perfect, as it was close to the airport, and also had a huge shopping centre across the road,...
