What an amazing place! The set up is so well done. It’s a huge resort but it still manages to give you a cozy feel to it. Beautiful lawns and palm trees everywhere. The beach is being kept clean and waking up with a morning swim in the warm sea is just the best! After breakfast its time to ly by the pool with a fresh pineapple juice. True vacation! The Borneo Spa is also a MUST for some relaxation! The staff is super friendly. Unfortunately the hotel is still suffering from the pandemic so some restaurants have had to close but they are doing everything they can to make your experience a good one! Loving it!

The resort is very nice located, has its own beach. The gardens are very beautifull. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. There was a problem with the bedlinnen and that was solved in a very good way. The food was good. Advise to the owner or gm: The resort needs updating in maintenance, like cleaning , painting outside spaces. Repairing outside furniture. The staff is great so when you update the rooms and outside the resort as a whole will be wonderfull

The room and bed comfort and cleanliness were outstanding! Room is newly refurbished. Had full restful and relax sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the free 1-hr bicycle ride around the hotel viccinty. Got to meet local resident - a family of monitor lizard. Spotted around the gardens and lake area. Also, spotted beautiful birds and its nature. However, the downside is that most facilities were either closed or unavailable. Were told most beach activities are closed at this period as the sea were too rough. Best time to go is May-July. Hope the hotel management would re-open their beach bar etc. Such a shame it no longer is operating. All run down.

We know that there were limited bike to rent. Well… we willing to wait. After we waited for an hour, then suppose is our turn to rent the bike. But the staff just let the “ NEWCOMER” took away the bike without inform or payment at all. The staff just sit at there and not stop the lady. There’s NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS AT ALL!!! The food average but not much choices. The aircon is not functioning well and very hot and sweaty. Only the beach is good.

Visit on 14-20 dec 2021 with family. Poor service. Clearly not enough staff. Room is old and need repair (5110). Second room (5111) aircond not functioning, was not given to transfer room, repair not working. Fort yard and walkaway for villa 5 at night no light, call for repair, only 1 day come rest was not repair. Very dark at fort yard. For the room price for villa, service is really like 2 star hotel. Not worth the price. Airport transfer only have 1 van, end up need to find taxi as grab is not in the area.

If you have kids - avoid If your have elderly - avoid If you are a clean freak - avoid If you don't have a build in patience - avoid If you looking for a holiday or staycation - avoid The hotel needs a major refurbishment and improve their service. Poorly maintained old room. Felt like its 1990s. Smelly toilet issue. Toilet flush issue. Hotel transport issue. Had to wait 30 mins at the block lobby without chair or bench as they did not have a proper system to inform the guest that the transport has arrived. We experienced only 1 van moving to pick up guests. Just imagine how long we had to wait. Plus it was raining and we had no choice but to wait for the transport. There were 2 far a part separate block for quarantine (block 2 and 7). They should've put them side by side at the far end of the resort. Not in between guests occupied blocks. Breakfast was ok. Beach was a bit dirty. Pools closes early.

We stayed at the Borneo Garden Wing during our family staycation, as the resort is having a promotion rates. The room was spacious and very family friendly especially those with small children. However the setback was the bathroom, the toilet keep on flooding and water is not draining to the drainage hole. No wonder the resort left a broom for the guest to sweep away stagnant water in the toilet. Breakfast was average, more of a 3-star hotel standard, perhaps the promotion price comes with an average set of breakfast menu. I guess the resort really need a major renovation and refurbishment. Keep up the good services though.

The overall view was nice, service was good. Room is clean. Toilet too. Only problem with the light suddenly turn off and kinda spooky but its all good after repairman came. Telephone room was no function at all. So just save hotel number to call for a service. At the beach, we saw a mysterious man ‘isap gam’ walking along the beach . Its quit scary so we have to run for our life and there’s no safety officer at the beach side so better to have company walking at the beach. Its a nice place, clean, view was pretty.

even they have a hotline number (WA number), personally that I can comment on that fast action. however, During my stay at this hotel, the problem was the hot water. i was told that, hot water has to wait in a few minutes before the water boils. however, the hot water is uncontrollable. feels like hot water in a poring, where the hot water is uncontrollable and the heat continues. internet that night, can't access wifi. on the second day, the problem of the toilet where it could not be flushed. the reason is a water pressure problem. on the last day, their is hot water at all. I had to boil water to get hot water to bathe my child and I had to take a cold shower. I paid that amount for accommodation in a hotel instead of staying in a homestay. be aware, if you live in a homestay, it is forced not to reach the exceptation limit. but you are paying for 5 star but feel like staying big room and the facilities in room like 1 star.
