This is a great value option. I went super budget and picked the windowless room, which I'm not sure I would recommend. It's odd not having the light to wake you up in the morning. The walls are also very thin, a neighbour left his phone in his room and it would often ring as loud as if it were...

We stayed here two nights. There are some nice amenities (wifi, free breakfast) and the rooms, although small, look nice. Keep this in mind though: rooms smell like cigarette smoke. We stayed on a non-smoking floor, but as there is central air, when people smoke in their rooms, it travels to all the rooms. Our clothes ended up smelling like...

Location of the hotel is the best thing. It is close to few shopping centre, and you get a great, nice walk along the sea side. We have problem with the hot water in the bathroom and the reception staff was not helpful at all and even show us some faces. Then at mid-night, the fire alarm went off, and...

From KK Airport: taxis from the airport are ina cooperative anmd all charge the same far. From KK back to the airport the taxis will again all charge this flat fare (30MYR from memory). The Best Western is at the south end of Kota furthest from the airport so best value in a taxi!! Reception was manic when I arrived-...

I was there for 10 nights. Thus, my feedback is not just an overnight observation. The Room smells bad, although it is considerably clean. The refilled 2 bottles of drinking water daily. Room has wifi access free. What's funny? The room key, it needs to be updated daily at the reception, I have never experienced this before. The breakfast, food...

good location, helpful staff ( except for two extremely rude older receptionists who i noticed had a problem with all female tourists). good breakfast. room a good size. the renovating is more that they are demolishing - too loud to stay in room - starts at 8/9 until 5ish. every day. add to that very loud functions on the same...

Good value for money property at the city center. All your major attractions in the city are at walking distance. There are a lot of local and Chinese restaurants around and the little Italy round the corner of the road is highly recommended. The hotel is a bit old property but the rooms are spacious enough with an excellent bed...

This place is our home for 6 days. Three of us stayed in a non smoking room. The room was okay, considering the price. The bathroom is spacious, though the tiles in the shower is not so clean. Toiletries were replenished everyday. Bottled water also given everyday. The location is great! Near and walking distance to almost all malls in...

In the hotel industry its all about perception and Best Western in KK gave me a very bad first one. We booked the room through booking.com but they didnt receive the order. Even double check this with booking.com they still need us to print out the reservation for administration reasons. Printing out wasnt possible since the internet connection is stuck...

Strategic location. Near the fery terminal, Suria Sabah, Gaya Streets, restaurants and others. Amy is very helpful staff. A simple buffet option, according to a relatively cheap price. With the relatively cheap price, the room is quite comfortable, suitable for travelers or in a short time visitors who want a little privacy and comfort. TIPS : Walking distance to the...
