We booked for three nights but left after one - there were no staff either day we were there (a lady from the shop next door checked us in), there was no breakfast and both toilets were broken, with wet floors and leaking cisterns. The room was as expected for the price - basic, but fine - and the common...

The lodge seems to be in a transition. When we arrived, shopkeeper from downstairs gave us keys and toilet paper and then left us in this big beautiful house with just a paper on the reception saying "no staff today". Today stretched to 3 days, after which we left to a hostel where there's someone else as well. The lodge...

Ok for the price but I really wouldn't want to spend more then one or two nights here. Bathroom was constantly soaking wet and the toilet didn't flush properly. Bed was acceptably comfortable but this is a very basic accommodation.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights when we first arrived in Kuching based on the reviews. I think it may have had it's hay day in the past, but it's still in a great location and the staff were helpful on the first night. It's great value for money, with Chinatown and India Street being so close....

Spent three nights with my girlfriend. Have nothing bad to say about this accommodation. It is in a brilliant location right on the waterfront in the old bazaar. Loads of places to eat and drink around. Bus station (to national parks and caves) is just a 10 minute walk. Rooms were clean and comfortable, some nice communal areas, staff were...

I stayed here for 2 nights on the basis of the reviews, but was a little disappointed. The room was ok, but everything just seemed a little sad and unloved, and the bathrooms weren't very clean. The friendly atmosphere that this place is sold on was completely missing - I think I had the same 2 staff as one of...

I went for sleep n alone time every week on my offday. Clean air-con room n comfy bed. Recommended for young backpackers n local to runaway from hustle n bustle life on workdays. Near to Plaza Merdeka shopping mall n located infront of the famous Kuching Waterfront.

Stayed at this GH was a friend's decision - He stayed here many years ago which was good and he wanted to stay here again. To me, a twice room for USD15 a night was very cheap. But I will not stay there again as the GH is very run down and most of the rooms without window. Good side...

Our first night in Kuching was at this dirty hostel. We did not enjoy it much. The staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. The breakfast did consist of toasted bread coffee and tea that you served yourself at the reception area. We do not recommend this place.

Horrible and unusefull personal. Personal doing noisy party up to night. On the floor with most of the rooms were crashed shower and toilet. Absolutely don't understand, why they have so good references.
