Very comfortable bed, helpful and friendly staff, strong wifi, excellent breakfast variety and quality, nice cakes and coffee at cafe. Being on a business trip, I like the nice executive desk and chair in the room and there was sufficient business news on TV. Was pleased that the service and room was up to what you would expect from a... More

My room facing Sarawak River water front. It was a nice view during a daylight where I can see clearly the fort Margerita and the riverbank village. Night view more superb with the light at riverbank. Magnificient

We came for the Emerging Leaders Asia Conference as an official delegate, not as participant, so we get to observe the ongoings, including from side doors of the Hilton Kuching. All the fanfares with a British Royalty, Sarawak's top dignitaries and emerging leaders seemed to move effortlessly around Hilton Kuching. Credit to the staff and the GM Mr Hamish who... More

This is an old hotel but it's well maintained. The furniture could do with an upgrade . However, Princess Anne was staying here when I was there so the place must still be regarded as the best place to put up foreign dignitaries. The Chinese restaurant is pretty good however their main coffee house and restaurant could do with a... More

We stayed in 2 different rooms during our stay (it had to do with the tour we had booked). The first room was on one of the higher floors. It had a great view facing the river but had a bad smell. Our second room was on a lower floor also facing the river. I was pleased that there was... More

We had a 3 night stay here at the beginning of our Borneo adventure. Nice hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Room was comfortable but the bathroom was dated and disappointing. Why do hotels still have showers over the bath. They are dangerous. The functionality of the shower and toilet were both dodgy. The breakfast buffet was good but the... More

I have regularly visited the Hilton Kuching over many years but not in the past six years. I was therefore astonished, despite my changed appearance, to be recognised at the Hilton Honors desk by Petros -- an employee to be treasured. He did so much to make our stay unforgetable. The rooms facing the Sarawak River have marvellous views. We... More

I recently stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour of Borneo. The hotel is situated well within the city and is close to the airport. The rooms are big and comfortable. We had a la carte on our first night which had a relatively wide choice, with some local dishes which were tasty. For the rest of... More

A good hotel especially if you opt for the Club facilities, excellent value for money and staff helpful and very pleasant. Nice bar. Hotel could do with a refresh of paint outside and pool upgrade. Coffee at breakfast seemed to be a problem but overall had a good stay and would return to stay in the Club Rooms
