We traveled to The Nautilus to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This vacation was so wonderful, I'm nervous to write a review because my words won't do our experience justice. We were treated beautifully. Truly. It's a rare place. Our Residence Manager, Thaany, made us feel welcome immediately and exceeded our expectations in every way. She was always very kind and managed to help us find the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. The over water villas are tastefully designed and have the best views imaginable. The spa has lovely therapists. All of the restaurants are divine. We especially loved the teppanyaki and a 5 course dinner that included my favorite Chinese dish arranged by the Head Chef. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a sunset in the middle of the ocean on a sand bar. We went snorkeling every day around the lagoon and house reef surrounding the island. The Head of Recreation helped us add a coral planting to the reef and took us to dive with over 30 manta rays in a nearby bay. This was even better than it sounds. We both left a bit of our hearts on the island and can't wait to visit again. Our biggest thanks to the entire staff!

International Team, international guest, private water plane transportation....really good, for sure I will come back and enjoy the island on THE NAUTILUS. Great thanks to the GM as well

Nautilus is peace on earth ! Combine that with the highest quality food and service and you have Utopia ! My wife and I have just spent 3 glorious , relaxing weeks in this unique resort . In all my years of travelling I have never felt so sublimely chilled-out ! Their mantra is based on 5 principles : - Time stands still - Comforts of home - Unscripted dining - Free spirited experience - Art of bohemia . What is on the can is what you get ! Guests can eat at any time to suit them and the talented chefs are ready to prepare any meal of your choice . There are only 26 villas which makes it one of the smallest and indeed most delightful resorts in the Maldives . The personal attention to every detail is most impressive . Each villa comes with a dedicated butler ( thank you Hushy ! ) who will be at your service 24/7 . The design of all the villas is super luxurious but not over- stated and in keeping with the Maldivian culture . The ingenious architect has managed to create each villa and the public areas " in the round " giving it a soft and attractive feel . It has been masterminded by the late Dr Ibrahim Maniku who is recognised as being one of the pioneers of tourism in the Maldives . The GM Mohammed Ashraf has assembled the most talented and dedicated team around him who will ensure that the wishes of every guest are fulfilled . I have enormous pleasure in recommending Nautilus to you .
