We've just returned from 10 days at Reethi Beach and I agree with the other reviewers, this is a fantastic value resort. We stayed HB and opted to eat our lunch at the choice of restaurants as it worked out much cheaper than eating in...More
We have just returned from an amazing 10 days at Reethi Beach. Words are not enough to describe the beauty of the island. Small enough to be intimate but large enough to not be crowded. From our first impression of front of house, Florine our...More
Reethi beach is a fantastic choice for those that want simplicity, a nice dive shop and fantastic service. We stayed in a WV. The rooms are simple but contain all you need. We looked at beach villas but preferred the privacy the WVs offered. We’ve...More
We have conducted an extended online research in order to select the hotel for our first trip to the Maldives. Reethi Beach Resort has been an excellent choice. It is a beautiful, well-maintained tropical island, covered by lush vegetation and surrounded by a wonderful reef....More

Yes in parts it is.
The best area is on the west side down by the sunset bar.....between villa numbers 101 and 120 roughly.
There is a little on the east side just between the Moodhu restaurant and the water villas.

I have used the WiFi that the previous member is on about, I had the 15gb option which with taxes was around $100 I think, you then have to carry a little battery powered router around with you. Another cheaper option is to pop in to the phone shop at the airport and buy a SIM card for you phone (make sure your phone is unlocked for other networks), with this you can buy a SIM card with 15gb of data that lasts a month for about $39 so a big difference, and you wouldn’t need a router then either. If you ever do a return trip you could then go online and top up the data balance to save going in to the shop again when you go.

Water Villas layout are half circular, if you request the one in the middle you shouldn’t have tidal problems. However the last two villas on the jetty side, you can get full sunrise view while you were laying in the bed. Villas are actually over water but not deep. While you are in the Balcony, all you can see is just full view of an Indian Ocean.
