Lovely riad and definitely the best one we have stayed during our trip to Morroco. The owner takes time to answer your questions and give you tips and recommendations. The building is beautiful and the terrace has amazing views. The only thing I could think could be improved is breakfast, which was bit boring, bread, jam, juice and coffee with...

Many thanks Magda for your review !! I just wanted to precise that there is a mistake with our breakfast. Our breakfast is a typical Morroccan one without ham. And our breakfast changes every day.

Riad Saltana was just what we needed after my friend ruptured his Achilles the first day we arrived in Marrakech. Upon arrival to saltana, Geraldine put us into a larger room and gave us all kinds of information about taxis, places to eat, pharmacies, etc. She helped us arrange to purchase a wheelchair so that we could enjoy our remaining...

My sister and I have been to esso a few times before to visit our father who has lived here for a long time. This has been by far the most comfortable stay we have had, the riad is lovely and really nicely decorated, the atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed and the breakfast is filling and tasty. Everyone who worked...

Riad Sultana is a beautiful, traditional building which has been decorated to maintain the authenticity yet not compromising any comfort! The sea view terrace is breathtaking. We sat there every evening enjoying the sunshine and taking in the ambiance of the magical walled city, Essaouira. Hostess, Geraldine is an amazing host. We were made to feel welcome from the minute...

The owner is as fake as a wedding cake! She welcomed us and was all smileys but when we told her that we put two single beds together she flipped, was very aggressive and dismissed us with a gesture. The rooms were not clean and we asked for them to be cleaned again. There's no internet in the rooms. The...

Hello Monsieur Sam H, I absolutely want to indicate that you made a terrible mistake and that your comment refers to another riad (there is probably a confusion with riad “Les Sultanes”) and not to Riad Saltana. Indeed, I did’nt welcome any people coming from Cyprus in my riad. In our riad, the cleanliness is irreproachable and the household is...

The position was excellent, beds very comfortable and communal areas were smart whilst feeling homely. Everything was constantly tidy and kept very clean. What we particularly liked was our hostess, Geraldine, who could not have been more accommodating or friendly, as were her staff. Breakfast was served on the terrace and was plentiful and filling. Transport to and from the...

We had originally booked two nights here and ended up staying another as we enjoyed this Riad and Eassaouria so much. Beautiful clean rooms that maintain the traditional elements of the Town. The food was lovely and the hostess was very helpful with recommendations for food and entertainment. Me and my partner fell ill (not because of this Riad) and...

The owner Geraldine was very friendly and welcoming straight from our arrival. She gave many excellent tips in particular on the restaurants worth eating at, the local tariff for taxis and the map that she gave us was brilliant. Her two members of staff were also very friendly and smiling. Breakfasts taken on the terrace overlooking the ocean were very...

Stayed here recently and despite suffering with a broken rib Geraldine was the perfect host. The room was good value for money, the roof terrace where breakfast was served offered great views across the city and of the sea.
