Nothing is too much trouble for Riad Watier. The reassuring email communication to our arrival in this stunning Riad. Personally preferring smaller accommodations Morocco has to offer in contrast to larger corporate hotels. Watier is offers large, high ceilinged rooms, tastefully decorated with stunning lighting and furnishings. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a feast and a social fun affair with guests sharing...

Hayat and her staff are so welcoming. Each room in the raid is decorated so uniquely and the art that adorns all the walls hints at the rich artistic community in Essaouria. We had dinner at the raid one night and it might have been our best meal in Morocco. The food was delicious and the company engaging. We met...

Stayed here for last 6 days and enjoyed every minute. Hyat and her staff are cheerful, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly clean with comfy beds. The food is traditional and superb. We didn't eat anywhere else for dinner. Hyat, the manager, joins the guests for dinner and most are still sitting and chatting 3 hours later. Set...

A great experince from the momet that the door opened to let us in. A lovely warm greeting; a welcoming drink and an almost immediate feeling that this was a home and we were guests. The Manager Hayad and her staff are all attentive and friendly; nothing is too much trouble. An evening meal is occasionally available on request and...

We got the warmest of welcomes here, right down to a specially cooked-at-my-request lasagne! Hyat runs this place as if it is her own home and is on hand to offer advice and help with anything you should need. She's lovely with kids too (and my daughter loved he two cats and two tortoise). Special mention should go to the...

When you arrive at Riad Watier you receive a warm welcome and are offered a cool drink or tea on the roof terrace. The place is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Plus there is a dining area and a log fire to sit by on a chilly evening. The breakfasts, are very special and delicious and...

Staying at the Riad Watier was a real delight. The Riad is tucked down a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The Riad has been stylishly restored and beautifully captures the local charm. Our room was extremely generous in size with a very comfortable indoor seating area together with a terrace. Best of all...

This is a lovely, friendly place to stay and we had a great three days here in early February 2017. Riad Watier is hidden away down a side street in a central location in Essaouira. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived by owner Jean-Gabriel and manager Hyatt. Both speak good English as well as French and...

We loved this Riad. Hayat is a lovely host who looks after you without crowding you. Our double room was spacious, clean and had the added bonus of a fire for cooler evenings. Beautiful, original art and decor throughout. Yummy breakfasts on the roof terrace. Right in the heart of the medina which is a shopper's paradise. Would love to...
