Th accommodation was very good, whole group in a massive 18 bed dorm with two big bathrooms and lots of space. All the staff except one were lovely and helped us out with everything we asked for. Good laundry service and bar. However, the lady at the activities desk is the rudest woman I've come across in the entirety of... More

Hello Charly, Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear about your bad experience with the Lady at the Activitiy centre. I will take this up with her manager as they rent the area from us and this sort of behavior does not reflect well on Amanpuri TRavellers Lodge. I trust you enjoy the rest of your... More

I made a booking via mail. It was really confusing. First they had a room available and then they didnt. But eventually they set me up. So everything okay. The place looks good. Nice and clean. It's nice that they have an office to book some activities.

I enjoyed my stay at amanpuri. I stayed here as part of a nomad tour. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean, showers were hot and wifi was free. It was a welcome relief from overland camping! The only faults were the rooms were very cold (granted it was winter) and the wifi was not available in our rooms which meant... More

Spent a month in Namibia volunteering with EHRA and stayed at the Amanpuri for 7 nights pre, post and during the trip. It was excellent value at £9.00 a night. The dorm was clean, the linen good and clean and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. We had a shower room en-suite with hot water and good pressure at any time of the... More

This was our first bed after 10 days in tents. It was great. Clean, neat, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Handy location to the CBD but far enough away to be quiet. Security was low key but effective. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best I have ever had. I left my passport in the safe.... More

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean, showers were hot and high pressure. Wifi was good in public areas, however we had one of the far back rooms that didn't get it. The breakfast was great even if a bit slow, but that wasn't really an issue. Reception staff were knowledgable and able to help with... More

The Amanpuri travellers lodge has been wonderful, nice rooms, a breakfast area and a bar along with strong free wifi and piping hot water all contributing to our stay. Many of the overland trucks stop here so take that into consideration. Ground rush adventures are up stairs ready to plan your sky driving excursion.
