For a hostal, Hostal Boquete satisfied our basic needs - it was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. However, the one night we stayed there, there seemed to be some celebration or festival going on across the river (we had a river view) which prevented us from sleeping. We had arranged a hike the next morning at 6 am,... More

While not a luxury accommodation, it provides all that a visitor needs for a great overnight stay. We stayed in the riverfront upstairs room and the soothing sound of the raging river was a great way to fall asleep after a long day of travel or visit to the local mountains. The staff deserves a prize for their great personalized... More

We stayed in a river view room (#10) for three nights and loved it there. The views from the room were great, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for walking around the city. We did not have any hot water for the three days that we stayed at the hostal and our neighbours (whom... More

Our stay in boquete was enjoyable for the three day visit, disapointment was the room we chose , #7 which recieved rave reports ! on trip advisor. This room needs serious up dates, from bathroom to the cramped bedroom area and the totally poor fitting door that need a wedge to secure it, the window has a habit of crashing... More

It's a nice and clean place where you'd want to live again. Close to the town, but not at the noisy part of the town. The most friendly hotel/hostel staff I have ever met. There are lots of friendly neighbors from the local and from the US. So When I was there, I felt more like I was at home.... More

I traveled to boquete with a friend I met on the road. We stayed one night in another hostal and it was terrible, so we moved here based on a recommendation of a friend. It´s awesome! our room is so cute, and the price was right. There´s free coffee and a kitchen and a gorgeous outside patio area overlooking the... More

We have stayed in Hostal Boquette in November and I just made reservations again! It is a cosy place, not too big, the staff is very friendly and helpfull! I liked the beds and the sheets very much. The Hostal is located in the center but not in the main street, so it is not noisy. The river is beautiful.... More

Hostal Boquete is a cheap little place on the rivers edge. The location is great and the price is right. The rooms were adequate (not roomy but big enough). The little patio facing onto the river was a great sitting area. And the free coffee and bananas were a nice touch. The best part of the stay was the manager... More

The place is old, worn down, not clean and opposite of the local disco. Guaranteed no sleep in the weekend. We stayed in the "river view room with private balcony" a joke. It's smaller than a garage box with a mini bathroom with cold water. A second door which could not be locked leads to a working area. No one... More

We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time with us. However, the noise mentioned was coming from the Boquete fairgrounds, which were being used to celebrate one of the Panamanian Independence Day holidays. We cannot control this, but we take every guest's opinion seriously and we work hard to make everyone's stay as enjoyable as... More

My stay at the Hostel Boquete exceeded any expectations that I had. I stayed at room #7 per reviews on TripAdvisor and I was really pleased. The room had hot water at all the time. And there was a fan in the room. The view was outstanding and I loved the balcony. I had my lunch and dinner there and... More
