Delightful botanical setting with excellent staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and complete with a better than average bathroom and tiny "kitchen". Netflix included. The breakfast is two courses; fresh tropical fruit and a choice of cooked main dish, plus coffee and fresh juice. Many of the questions that Tripadvisor asked reference Covid spacing are not applicable due to the fact that there are no elevators...all the units are reached by outdoor paths and stairs. The breakfast area is outside and well spaced....mask use is way better than most of the U.S.A..
Spent 3 nights at the Boquete Garden Inn. The grounds, the rooms and friendly, accommodating staff (plus great breakfast, and a fun social hour) made our stay here a memorable part of our time in Panama. The location is a bit of a walk to town, but a quick cab ride. Rebecca and Abel were excellent hosts. They would order cabs for us at specified times, welcomed us at the social hour, and were able to assist with the many questions we had about getting around and exploring Boquete. The rooms are very nice and spacious. We stayed in two different rooms, both were interesting, open floor plans with living areas that you could spend a lot of time inside of. The kitchenettes were also large, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is very good, you choose your dish out of several options. I recall the tortillas being very enjoyable with fried eggs. Breakfast also involves a self-serve area, with granola, cereal, smoothies, coffee, and ice water. The ice water was very useful and we were able to fill our bottles before a long hike. An added bonus is that while you have breakfast, you will observe (for extended periods of time) dozens of brightly coloured bird species less than 10ft away from you, pecking away at the trimmings from the morning’s freshly cut fruit. When we had an early departure, we asked for the Breakfast-to-Go option, and Rebecca handed us later that evening a very hearty breakfast that would be perfect for a day of adventuring in Boquete. TV worked great, shower nice.…
We stayed for one night at room 7A and it was absolutely gorgeous. The property is very clean and located in a great location. Breakfast was simple and delicious with fresh local ingredients. I highly recommend this property to anyone that makes it out to Boquete.
We stayed here June 4-6/2021 The room was so beautiful and open and spacious and decorated beautifully. The provence it is in Chiriqui had a lockdown from Saturday 10pm to Monday 4am so we were locked in and could not leave the property and I tell you if you had to locked down anywhere this is the place to be locked. The grounds are beautifully manicured with little nooks with comfortable places to sit there is hammocks and hanging chairs here and there and the birds are in abundance and the sound of the river that runs behind the property was tranquil sounding. I would reccommend this place to anyone without hesitation. Our room was the Blue-Gray Tanager 6B, such a beautiful room and it has a porch that goes on 2 sides of the room and it just feels so open!
Boquete Garden Inn is a beautiful spot. The garden, staff, our room and just the general atmosphere was so welcoming. Our favorite part of the whole experience was the breakfast -- Fresh fruit, delicious main dishes and THE BIRDS. So many birds. We aren't birders, but I'd imagine this place is their idea of heaven. I really appreciate the care the manager (sorry, I forget his name!) took with social distancing and making sure everything ran smoothly. He seems to be a one man show and sometimes it got a bit hectic, but he handled it perfectly. He organized an amazing coffee tour for us, made some great restaurant recommendations, and gave us his WhatsApp number just in case we needed anything. We chatted with a number of business owners and staff in town and they all were impacted pretty seriously by covid, and it sometimes shows -- but they all seem to be rallying back. If you can travel, I'd recommend visiting this special little town.…
