Pros: The hotel was stunning, surrounded by breathtaking nature. The room was spacious and included a well-maintained, spacious shower. Hearing the sounds of frogs and the adjacent stream at night was very relaxing. Cons: While the pool was beautiful, it was not heated and was way too cold to enjoy. One morning we were awoken early by the loud sounds of drilling in the pool area. This was our first stop on our vacation and we left covered in bedbug bites.

We spent 2 weeks at this property. The facility emphasizes hospitality and cleanliness. Well maintained, with beautiful gardens there is obvious interest and pride in taking care of guests. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The daily breakfast is excellent - a real home cooked meal. The setting, in the shadow of Vulcan Baru, an extinct volcano is breathtaking.

Excellent choice for us and a friend...we had a pleasant stay over the three days. They were helpful in getting a tour for us which was enjoyable. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was particularly good. If I were to say something was needed it would be a comfortable chair or something bigger to sit on other than the bed. There is plenty of room for it. We would and will stay here again if we come back.

The customer service overall was pretty poor, and not at all accommodating. Breakfast was ok, but poor service and overcooked food and lack of attention despite 5 or 6 staff. Remote area with no local dining.
