We had one lovely evening at this beautifully decorated and situated boutique hotel. It was a surprise booking from a friend of ours, and we were instantly captivated by the thought put into all of the little details, both architecturally and personally. William, the manager, was very attentive and was a graceful and accommodating young man. We enjoyed breakfast conversations...

Our visit to Casa Guardia was beyond expectations. Thank you owners, Enrique and Karin for the wonderful experience; it was a pleasure getting to know both of you. This boutique hotel and property are situated on the best portion of the beach. The location is quiet, away from the business of the large resorts. We elected to have meals included...

We had only one night at this small hotel. Not enough time to really enjoy it. Pretty grounds. Good breakfast. Nice pool next to beach. Rooms could use updating. Flying beetles at night when trying to have dinner.

This beautiful unique stucco with palapa roofed home, originally built for the owner's family, houses four guest rooms on the second floor with a living room, kitchen, office and open patio on the ground floor. Very tricky to find without gps, no signs on the property gates, curious. Across the barely traveled narrow road the lovely swimming pool perches above the...

Have just spend 3 wonderful days at this lovely boutique hotel. We needed a relaxed sidetrip to our vacation in Panama City, and Casa Guardia matched our expectations perfectly. It is less than a 2 hours drive from the City and very easy to find. Perfect location at the end of the beautiful beach, which gives you possibility for long...

We spent 4 days at Casa Guardia and couldn't have asked for anything more. Comfortable accommodations, a nice pool and terrace, directly on the beach and a short walk to bars and restaurants on the beach. As others have mentioned, you really feel like guests in Karin and Enrique's (Rick) home rather than hotel guests. They are a fascinating couple...

Our hosts, Rick and Karen were fabulous. We were warmly welcomed, had a fabulous meal and enjoyed a lovely evening. Beach front access and a great location for a long evening walk through the village added to the evening.

Awesome private place with loving owners concerned about the well being of their guests. The gardens are so beautiful and the room is clean and modern. Food was simple yet fantastic. So disappointed we were only there one evening. I can't recommend this place enough, Coronado is close and a nice town, and their beach access is off the back...
