Our experience at the Playa Blanca Resort was very disappointing. I must say that we like nice hotels and we are foodies, but this is the worst hotel I've seen in long time. When we arrived our room was not ready, so we had to wait 2 hours to get it. Afterwards, there were no towels and the room was...

We were hosted for a sunset birthday party at this property. Not our first visit, but one of the most memorable. The party was set by the artificial saltwater lagoon on a full moon. The property is well kept and clean. It was a private party but the setting could not have been prettier. The lagoon is enchanted and peaceful....

The food was good and the staff was friendly. The weather was amazing, too. Otherwise my experience at Playa Blanca was a disappointment. I don't know who assigns the number of stars for a resort, but this is definitely NOT a 4-star establishment. It is an older resort and it has not been kept up. Lots of things need fixing...

We visited Panama on a Sunwing Vacation from Toronto Jan. 16-23. It is a five hour flight with no meals so take food or snacks with you. Same for the return flight. The scheduled landing time was 7:55pm and we were right on time. The Rio Hato airport is only 15 minutes from the Playa Blanca Resort, however, due to...

Besides the warm weather and the nice beach this vacation would be a bust. First it was a disappointment at the lack of speaking or understanding of English. I dont expect everyone to speak or understand but the people at the front desk didnt speak or understand. The room was nice but we had no hot water for showers all...

We have just returned from Playa Blanca Panama. We had a great time. The resort was very nice. Rooms were quite large and clean. If you want to dance all night or just listen to the disco make sure you ask for a room by the disco..if you are looking for quiet make sure your room is close to the...

Early check in does not mean you get your room early - it does however mean you get access to drinks and food (hence the $15 pp surcharge) and towels (if available!). The resort really could do with providing changing rooms for those that do check in early (we had to change in the toilets which were not the cleanest)....

Probably the worst service I have ever seen. Cuba was bad and food bad - but this is worse. Let's start with bus from airport to the wrong building. Nobody knows what's going on. Hardly anyone speaks English. Next after check in - not one bit of info is told to you or offered. Had no idea where anything was....

Average hotel, average Pacific beach, just average. Stayed between Christmas and NY to get out of the city for a couple days. We had sworn not to go to all-inclusive places again, and this stay brought back memories of why we had sworn that previously. Resort is huge, and the pools are huge. But they close early (WHY???) and open...

I have been to several resorts in Panama and this one so far is the worse. Check in was easy and fast only because we showed up 2 hours late to check in, resort area was beautiful and inviting when you first get there. Once checking in I asked about the Big Lagoon pool, which is not only not available...
