Yandup lodge seems to do everything right. Don't expect luxury in the traditional sense, but more than enough to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and very well catered for. The setting is beautifull and the cottages are basic and simple but very nice, especially the ones built over the water. Almost every morning canoes from the nearby villages drop by...

We LOVED our time on Yandup. The cabins are basic but very clean and spacious with a gorgeous wrap around deck. We loved what we called "dry snorkeling" - spotting and remarking on all the bright tropical fish we could see swimming around the coral in the clear, clear water just beyond the cabin as we enjoyed the view from...

Beautiful tiny island, nice rooms with good privacy (lodges not too close from one another), and even if you don't have a lodge over the water with pilotis, the other lodges are very close to the water. Food quantity alright according to us but as written everywhere it is preferable to bring some snacks, especially for the small trips to...

In contrast to some who have posted here, we found the meals quite substantial and were hardly bothered by bugs - though of course we sprayed ourselves with Deet and one must not be complacent. We agree with all the good things which have been said, especially about the staff. Minor disappointments: for us the weather was cloudy and the...

We had a fantastic time at Yandup Island Lodge. It's run by a Kunah / Spanish Family. Leaving the Allbrook Airport to fly to Playon Chico, the children of the owners where there to greet us which was nice. They were friendly and asked if we had any questions. (TIP: this plane is really small so try to only bring...

Yandup Lodge met our expectations. From the booking process which was professionally handled, to the island staff meeting us at the airport. The staff was friendly and tried their best to make our stay enjoyable. The tours were a nice get away and the fish life is abundant. The meals while limited to what they are serving were sufficient and...

It was our first visit to Panama and the decision to visit San Blas was certainly the best! The island is very beautiful and the hotel offers an amazing experience near the nature. The staff was very friendly and careful. The rooms were good and well equiped, although there was no electricity for the shower... which did not represent a...

Spent quite some time researching the best lodge to visit in San Blas and must say was extremely happy with Yandup Island Lodge. My sister and I visited Yandup for 3 days and it was total peace and relaxation at it's finest!!! Beautiful little island (only 10 huts - a few above the sea and some next to the sea),...

We stayed in Yandup Island Lodge for 2 nights last month. This was one of the best places I have ever been to. I have never seen water so clear. There are really nothing else out there except a small Kuna community near by, and it is a true "get away" kinda place. We had an over the sea cabin,...

We are two senior couples who stayed two nights in Yandup Island Lodge and we all agreed it was a highlight of our travels anywhere! From the pristine island to the unique and comfortable over-the-water cabanas to the outstanding service provided by the staff, we just cannot say enough good things about our time there. The information on the TA...
