We took Air Panama 40 min. flight on a Cessna- 8 person plane from Albrook to Playon Chico and there was Tomas, waiting for us to take us to the Lodge on a boat. It took us about 5 min and there it was...Paradise! The owner, David, is half Guna and half Spaniard. All staff is Guna and they are...

From the moment you arrive, you are in paradise. Our guides and hosts were amazing and really catered to all the guests. The excursions are so wonderful, we just can't say enough about how beautiful it is. Rustic huts over the water are tranquil and comfortable. The tour of the Kuna village was very informative. We had no issue with...

A 30 minute plane ride and a 5 minute boat ride is all it takes to transport you to a different world. The views from the flight are incredible-- rivers and tributaries everywhere in the jungle covered hills. Met at the airstrip, I was comfortably ensconced in my overwater bungalow within 15 minutes of my flight's arrival. SUPER professional staff,...

We loved Yandup, the staff was very friendly and though very rustic, we were very comfortable. The food was plentiful, fresh, simple and mostly seafood. We loved the peaceful environment and the beautiful scenery. The Kuna Yala Indians are very sweet friendly people. The over the water bungalow was very rustic, like all accomodations in San Blas, but we enjoyed...

This place was right up my alley. It's not cheap, but the value's there when you consider all that's included in the price (room, 3 meals daily, 2 daily excursions). Our Kuna hosts were really accommodating, the little private beach has some decent snorkelling, and seafood doesn't get any fresher than what they serve daily. Be aware that the sea...

My 2nd day at Yandup I tripped off a step and fell hand first. Yandup staff went with me to the village doctor, a Guna with medical degree, who splinted my forearm. A Yandup guide delayed his return from Panamá City to meet me my flight there, escort me to hotel and hospital for X-rays and surgeon's consult, and be...

If you're coming here mainly to be on an exotic island resort, you might feel somewhat disappointed. However, if you also come to experience a culture and their history, then this adventure to Yandup Island will be a very memorable trip. The afternoon trip to the Guna Yala community was intriguing. David (our guide) provided many insights into their history...

This is truly a special place. I had throughly researched it before going, and my husband and I stayed 3 nights. We were probably the youngest guests there (in our 30's). There was a great mix of people from all over the world which was fun, Canada, Germany, the UK, South American. First of all this is not a 4/5...

Stayed two nights at this oazis of tranquility; two days of complete quiet, with no phones, no internet - just you and mother nature all around. The people were very friendly, yhe service (within their limitation) was exquisite, even the weatger was OK. But It was not perfect, little things were quite a nuissance. Like the fact that there was...

My husband and I stayed three nights and are grateful for the experience. The Accommodations - We had an over water cabin, which had extremely comfortable hammocks and a gorgeous view. The queen size bed was comfortable and as expected. The toilet and sink worked properly and met our expectations. The shower was very disappointing, we had both prepared ourselves...
