Those that know this market town in the Altiplano devoid of touristic attractions will understand the title "More than OK for Juliaca": Far from fancy hotel , but reasonably clean, abundant hot water, wifi that works quite well (some interruptions), elevator, (very, very basic) restaurant... It is central and therefore very noisy, but I had a big not noisy room...

The place is clean, doesn't have heat but if you ask they can give you a portable heat to your room. The breakfast is included in the price and you have three options. They dont have transportation service from/to the airport, so you have to find that by yourself. Its probably one of the best options in the City.

I stayed for just one night in the Juliaca's Royal Inn, it was comfortable and nice, everything very clean and the restaurant offered good food. My experience with the rooms was far from other traveler's, I got a pretty cozy bed with a good mattress, and they looked new, maybe the made a recent remodeling or something. But there's one...

I have to explain my rating of 2. It is a 3 in the context of Juliaca because everything else there is way worse from what friends have said who live there. (We have friends there which is the ONLY reason we stayed there). Compared to the rest of the world I would rate it a 1. So I averaged...

If you really need to be in Juliaca for the night, Royal Inn is a good choice. There is nothing wrong with the hotel in it of itself. The staff is really good. They don't speak any English, but they do their best to help you and figure out what you need. I'm very grateful to them and for their...

this is far from a great hotel, has its deficiencies, but to date its the best place i've stayed in Juliaca (for business). the restaurant functions much better than the other comparable hotel, which on one occasion saved me as I came down with the flu and really appreciated not having to leave the premises to dine. I'm still hoping...

Driving in Peru we had to make a stop a Juliaca, something you would not plan to. The room was huge, however right above the busiest corner of the city and after 8PM a loud music was playing for no apparent reason until late. We were so tired that it did not bother much, but considering another room far from...

I can't say much nice about the town of Juliaca but the Royal Inn was OK. We were traveling by bicycle and found the staff to be very accommodating. The rooms were OK (it is Peru), reasonably clean, reliable power and the shower was hot. The restaurant was surprisingly good. It's a very reasonable value for the money.

The photo's on their website are mis-leading; this is not an attractive hotel. This hotel in Juliaca is very basic with very basic rooms. It is dull and dingy. The room I had didn't appear to be cleaned very often. A large window over the room door allowed the florescent light in the hall to shine in all night. There...

The pluses are that it has an elevator (remember the altitude), hot water with good pressure and bed was pretty comfortable. The minuses are that it is old and shabby, on a VERY noisy corner (bring earplugs if you have an outside room), the breakfast included is VERY skimpy (pay 4 soles extra for protein), the door locks are SUPER...
