This review is long overdue, and I have been meaning to write it since we got home. We traveled as a family in April 2014, and the kids are still talking abut it 3 years later. The kids fell in love with the pool and the monkeys, particularly Sue, the baby monkey they were able to feed with a bottle....

If you want the full Jungle experience without being way out in the jungle, Anaconda Lodge is your place. The owner Donald and Wadee left much of the flora surrounding the lodges in place when he bought the place and made trails through the jungle to the various huts. The huts are pretty primitive with only screens to separate you...

I had been studying abroad in Cusco for two months and it was my spring break and all my friends were gone in other countries or different parts of Perú! I was going to be turning 21 over break and I wanted to do something special. I booked a 2 night stay at Anaconda Lodge and it was one of...

I live in Cusco and I always visit Anaconda Lodge. I love the staff and the grounds. The monkeys are friendly and affectionate. Drinking beer by the pool is something I always look forward to. I love taking tours with Luis, he is very knowledgeable about the birds and animals.

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our time a lot. Sure, the Lodge is not a high-end Hotel, but you get a lot for your money and there is a family-like atmosphere. For example: We arrived at 7am in the morning and could move into our accommodation immediately, we left at 6pm and could stay until the end...

I stayed in the Anaconda Lodge during the end of my study-abroad course through the Amazon rainforest of Peru. My classmates and I (about 17 of us including instructors), found this place to be a tropical paradise despite being located in an urban setting. This lodge is located about a 10 minute walk from the airport, which is very convenient...

The place is a little slice of paradise. The bungalows are located in the most beautiful jungle garden i've seen, planted by Donald himself who is happy to show the garden lover around. Night monkeys, squirrels and cabybara can be seen with a keen eye on the grounds. The lodges are fully insulated with netting, so no insects are in...

A couple of friends recommended this lodge so we didn't even look at the reviews to be honest, BAD IDEA. My friends stayed there years ago and perhaps it was different. To start off there are no monkeys, one of the main reasons we booked there. We arrived and were surprised to see the ground unkempt (dirty buckets in a...

We stayed in the Anaconda Lodge, which is quite far from the citycenter. The rooms are simple but descent and the pool is very nice. There's a lot of space and the lodges are in the middle of the trees. Only downside: on Friday, saturday and sunday there's loud music till 5 a.m. from the club nearby.

We camped here in our rv for one night. The place is neglected. Its like wild camping in the bush. Toilets were clean. No warm water in the showers. We didnt try the restaurant. It could be a nice place if it was better maintained. Sad to see..
