I enjoyed the time I spent at Corto Maltes during my 3D/2N program. It was quite warm and humid in the month of September, but I wouldn't expect any less from a jungle environment. The lodge and tours themselves were wonderful. The food prepared at the lodge was some of the best I ate during my time in Peru. The...

The location of this place is interesting, in the Amazon jungle and along a major river branch that dumps into the Amazon itself. That is about it. Our cabin was adequate, but NOT clean. The sound issues from other visitors, mainly very loud children, was a real problem! Our cabin only had screens and the sound could not be closed...

We did 4 day, 3 night program at Corto Maltes. It's our first stop in Peru, before we heading to Inca Trail. The food , accormodation, the guide are wonderful. Franklin is very knowledgeable about the plants, animals that lives in the jungle. Highly recommend if your time is limited

To start with the positives: * The bungalow was very clean and well maintained. * The staff was always very helpful and eager to please - they managed to deal with dietary requirements (no pork, no shellfish, no cilantro), even when this required cooking an entirely separate meal for me. * Our guide, Julio, was amazingly knowledgable * The lodge...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to give us feedback about our lodge, helping future guests with advice and at the same time help us improve our services. As you say the rainforest experience can be lived very differently according to whether before has traveled in places in the middle of wild nature, with extreme climates,...

We had been backpacking around for two months before we decided to explore the Amazon. I did heaps of research online and in the end decided to go with the 4 day/3 night option with Corto Maltes. Best decision ever!!! Money well spent :) beautiful gardens and bungalows. Food was excellent and plentiful. Pool and bar... no comment needed :D...

We did the 3-day, 2-night program at Corto Maltes and it was exactly as described online and as we imagined. At first I was a little uncertain about the booking process as you just submit a form online and get an email confirmation a few days later--there is no need to pay a deposit or provide a credit card number...

We did the 3 day/2 night stay at Corto Maltes an it was an incredible experience. The huts we stayed in were very spacious and clean. It was very nice having hammocks at the front of the porch to relax in during our down time. The excursions were fantastic. Even though the wake up calls were at 5am, it definitely...

The resort is ok. It's well maintained, the rooms are clean, the food is good, and the guides who work there are really friendly and knowledgable. If you want a 'light touch' Amazon tour, do this. It's close to the port, you go on a few boat rides, go on a few small walks within the resort, learn about a...

Dear guest, Thanks for letting us your opinion, always helps us to improve. But in this case we are not quite agree with your version of events. Overall for what you describes, the lodge seemed you well and what we remember of your stay you and your companion were really well because you asked to stay longer than the normally...

We spent 2 nights/3days at the Corto Maltes. While I was going in the amazonian forest reluctantly (to please my 14 years old son), I was pleasantly surprises. First, everyone has to understand that there are no 4-5 star hotels in the forest. Once accepted, I really appreciated this lodge, and I am convinced this is the best one for...
